I am 98% sure these are dried Chinese jujube dates. The 2% not sure comes from the fact that the actual fruits are not visible in the shot where he eats it, and jujube are decently large. Jujube aren’t particularly sour, they are like a very slightly tart date but with a texture more like a large raisin if I were asked to describe them. They are a delightful snack dried and have many culinary virtues in all of its different forms.

If you look at the fruit itself (on the packaging) it has a rough surface texture, which is pretty distinct from the smooth surface of fresh jujubes, or the wrinkled surface of dried jujubes

Yup
The trick to peanut butter is rattling the jar before you open it, so the oil mixes back in a bit, then you fold it around in the jar after the oil has re-emulsified with the peanut particles. I just take the jar and flip it quickly in my hand top-to-bottom, flick of the wrist style. That gets the shizz mixing back up in there. The only deal left to contend with is the particles at the bottom that have compacted down and don't want to budge, that's the only reason you have to mix it back up after opening it once you get the oil at the top mixed back in by flipping it a bunch. I also flip my cans of Stagg because they get a bit separated too with all the dense stuff at the bottom and the sauce at the top. Just a dozen wiggle shakes, I don't know what to call it, but you're just twisting it quickly so the top/bottom are switching places. Flipping it back and forth hecka quick. There needs to be a word for that. It's not shaking, because shaking is just moving it up/down. I'm talking about twisting your wrist and flipping it quickly. Halp.
