Can you use this as an audio interface as well with a DAW? Sorry if it's a silly question, I'm new to this stuff.

This replaces the need for one, makes it easy to hop on with a guitar or microphone on your phone or laptop. No need for a DAW either but it can be used with one. My Roland rep just showed me this earlier today and I’ve taken a few orders in, ordered a Gigcaster 5 myself. The 8 is very popular so far

@@TheRockingTotodile Thanks mate for the reply. Yeah I'm looking at the 5 as well. I want to begin recording for fun but I also stream stuff on Twitch and was thinking of doing some guitar stuff as well as the usual gaming. Seems like this is the device I need.

Looks promising! Could you create a video that shows the setup with a PC (windows)? How is the multitrack recording realized? Can I use up to all Faders for Windows-Audio-Output-Channel control? Looking for something to have a fader for different audio outputs of windows, e.g. to control audio volume of windows apps individually on a hardware level.
