God, it's been a bitch to make! See, I used this new software Video Pad (When I grow up I wanna use Sony!) instead of my usual and oh-so-easy Windows Movie Maker, so please be nice, it's like my first video all over again!
The theme of this work is one of my favorite things about Dean: his Father-Vibe! There are a few scenes through the seven seasons of SPN, when we all noticed Dean being very fatherly instead of brotherly towards Sam, I'm a huge sucker for those moments, and I'm not ashamed!
Everytime he say stuffs like "that's my boy" or when he say "Don't Dean me!" or when he starts lecturing Sam with that scowl on his face... gaaah just... yeah.
Erm. So I couldn't help myself, and I made this. Meanwhile, I've been meaning to post the "Father-vibe Dean request" on Supernatural Story-finders ( and share my list) so it's a plus!
So, this video is about Dean being the "real" Father that Sam needed growing up, instead of the drill sergeant and if-you-walk-out-that-door-don-t-you-ever-come-back John Winchester. And quite frankly after all the hints of sucky-father!John the show dropped on us, I don't feel guilty dismissing him. Plus, I really love the idea of Dean being Sam's father figure. He practically raised him after all and he love taking care of him even if he never said it like that.

Sam was fortunate enough to have not 1, but 3 father's...Dean, Bobby, and John. Just because John didn't offer Sam emotional support, or the traditional upbringing does not mean he didn't raise his son. John made those boys into heroes...where the hell would the world be if John didn't show them the way? John made good, but hard men, to thrive in a sharp toothed, bloody world, and the boys are forever greatful for it. In Sam's eyes John never had and never will have that title, to him the only people who deserve that title is Dean & Bobby.

Except for a lover, Dean really is everything to Sam. Dean is his big brother, his father, his mother, his best friend, etc. I really love their relationship and I feel like Sam's love for Dean is underrated compared to Dean's love for Sam.

He is. He's the one that raised Sam and looked out for him his entire life. And that's what a true father does. John never did any of that.
a lot of Dean’s words and actions really get to me because I both AM somewhat of a Dean and also have been blessed to have had someone BE a Dean to me. Teaching, guiding and protecting- I must remember to always be grateful for the short time I had with them.

ok thank you and by the way do you know the episode when Sam told Dean he was dying and then Dean say that he won't let him die and Sam ask again how do he stop him, try to watch this Consequences - Chapter 9/9 || Supernatural AU Fanfiction Vidfic SPN at 0:46 until 0:50. I know it's a fanfiction but there's some part that really comes from the series so if you know what episode that is I will really appreciate that thx u ^^
Seisuke Seirin Okay so I watched the 0:46 to 0:50 part and it's from season 3 episode 15 - Time is on My Side :) but umm the part where Sam says he's dying, it's actually a "part" of what he says in season 4 episode 17 - It's a Terrible Life where he says to Dean "I am dying to check this out right now" so I guess the creator of the video wanted to cut the "I am dying" part to make it more interesting. Lol watch the episode and you'll understand ;) hope I helped :)
