Em is just so versatile that’s what draws me into his music so much enjoy all the sides to em Because there’s always a certain song to match a certain vibe on different days just got so many tracks for every mood your in and his flows lyrics way he rhymes and puts words you wouldn’t think would go together it’s all mind blowing don’t get why he gets so much hate dude loves and breaths hip hop studied the game down to every detail pays homage to the greats and pioneers before him deserves his flowers before it’s too late and he’s gone. Forgot to say this, but I re listened to the Eminem verses with Rihanna in them and I gotta say they ain’t as bad as I though they were. They’re actually pretty decent. But I still stand by my first take. Anyways love the vid, keep the grind up.

People who call Eminem fanbase awful or stans are type of fake hiphopheads who like to think of themselves as "muh, knowledgeable", "true hiphopheads", therefore they like to think just cause Eminem is welcome in relatively mainstream, nonhiphophead communities too therefore it must mean that he doesn't have a value as a true "based" hip hop sense or can't have fans who are truly into the genre.
Even worse subcategory is those who think they are levelling up as a hiphophead by trashing Eminem or his fanbase. They will call any other stanning as "dedicated fandom" but will be first to call you stan if you do same to Eminem. I am huge Eminem fan, he is ten seas ahead everyone else, and I am more knowledgeable about the genre than 99% of these haters.
Valid, people just like to hate him i guess, the big problem is the toxic fans that go out of their way to hate on everybody else because they think Eminem is better haha

@@Brisky21 your problem is that you assume from singular experiences, stans are everywhere, man, that was literally my point. I don't like when just cause of some Eminem stan Nas fan calls me stan as in "Eminem's fans are stans". That simply talks about that person's own lack of hip hop knowledge of basic understanding that fanbases are diverse and not everyone is same cup of coffee. You know what? If anything, I have this observation that Nas stans are most insecure ones. At least when it's Eminem stan you can know that they maybe don't even care about representing true hip hop knowledge or hiphopheadness and is truly genre-illiterate and only exposed to three rappers at max. My point is this kind of stans are least annoying and easiest to ignore. While, on the other hand, Nas stand are truly worst because they challenge you in knowledge. And even then, I know that it's absurd to make generalisation such as "Nas fans are terrible".

I fully agree with the "mmlp2 is a top 3 Em album" take
The only albums i would take over it are mmlp and tes
Lyrically there are no albums i'd take over it, it's just that good
Also it has my favourite Eminem voice and some of his best flows imo
Some people hate on the production, but I'm a huge fan of rock/metal and i think mmlp2's production is everything done right with mixing rock and rap, while revival is the opposite
It also has some of his best use of sampling imo
And last but not least i'd say songs don't feel empty, they are so lyrically packed and he feels focused all the way through on every song (the average song length on mmlp2 is over 5 minutes!) and there of course are the goofy songs like on every album, but to me they also feel like they stick to the theme and feel necessary for an album titled "mmlp2" in one way or the other

I think MGK had a very good go! unfortunately the problem with killshot is it went over a lots heads! plus most ppl don't listen to all lyrics too understand it! Eminem destroyed MGK with it, MGK made a bad choice with picking Em to go to war with, mind you that kid is seriously messed up in the head! nearly everyone of his albums are amazing, I'm not sure why so many hate on Eminem tbh, I know a lot comes down to ppl being outright racist, ppl think he only has fans cos he's white, they also think cos we his fans we don't listen to any other hip hop which is bizarre! I think he is defo the best Artist of 2000s, I cant see a lot of these artist being listened too over 25 years later, I'm 42 now an still listen to nearly every album every day! yes there is a couple songs I wont listen to, Kim, stay wide awake are 2 of them, I know he painted a picture with both I read the lyrics but no they are not for me! also Till I collapse, role model, Berzek, renegade will always be at the top for me! his emotional ones are classics as well, I defo put Eminem in my TOP 5 he has proven himself over and over again! Tech N9ne is a better technical rapper then Eminem... Now I say technical in the sense of rhyme schemes flows and cadence. Eminem has the edge on the punchlines and bending words that aren't supposed to rhyme and make them rhyme

Techs verse with NF on trust. His verse on blammers n burners, Who do I catch now, world wide choppers, red nose, seepage. This Ring, industry is punks. He's got a huge catalog of his own plus probably a hundred features with other artists and Tech usually Knocks it out the part every time.
I agree with the Rhianna take I just never really liked Eminems love songs since if I'm listening to Eminem it's because I want to listen to something funny or angry and personally I just don't think he's super good at writing love songs (also a part 2 would be awesome)
