Fetish Necklace, Royal Indian Thrones & A Cocky Brit: Discovering New items- Nelson Atkins Museum

The Nelson Atkins art gallery is my favorite place in Kansas City. I've been here so many times and I always go to the same items. This week, I have challenged myself to find five items that are new to me and to learn from them. All information given came directly from the gallery labels.
I love history and I get out and go find it every week! I have found some amazing history just by getting out and exploring!

Nice video. Very interesting! There were some amazingly talented craftsmen and painters back then. And they didn’t have computers and state-of-the art equipment like what’s available now.

You had to have real talent to create art back then. Anymore you can’t tell if a piece of artwork is real, or if it was created by AI!
