That was always a hard working job, and that was when you had a driver and two shakers, the driver never left the truck. Now, the driver has to get out and help shaking. And now more work and a harder job. And Boston should mandate large green bags for garbage. It’s cleaner and helps the crew up to keep the streets clean.

company should put TWO decent tippers on the truck... no point in putting carts in play but then have workers lifting heavy carts by hand... defeats the purpose of having the carts in the first place... nice vid though

This combo is extremely common in the entire northeast, especially when this generation of trucks was new. It's definitely an old Capitol truck that has been repainted.

In Canada, Quebec my recycle truck is NRJ and it has this Leach truck, but Leach cycle is way more faster then this.

I’m a former supervisor for solid waste company. Most likely the helper is new or a temp.

It depends! Some places pay hourly others pay a day rate. My former location pays $120/day. The temps were getting $10/hour. From what I seen hourly rates can range between $10-$14/hr.
