Henderson's Blue McNeilus Rear Loader Doin' Bulky Trash! (1313)

- This truck is one that has eluded me for such a long time, for about a year I guess lol. My bulk crew started using this truck in 2018 and have switched between this truck and 1311 from time to time. Reason this truck escaped me several times is that I would see it all over Henderson, but I couldn't film because I was busy looking for other trucks or I would have to work on Fridays when my bulk crew would use this truck, but in the summer of 2019 when I had Fridays off, I finally caught this truck doing my route. So satisfying to finally complete this video and present it you guys!
Filmed on two occasions, one with Chris and Mike and one without Chris, but with another crew member, Darwin. Turns out Chris transferred out of the Henderson yard and now works out of the main Las Vegas yard as he wanted to work closer to where he lives as Chris lives in Las Vegas. Kind of sad that Chris left my route, but Darwin is very cool and welcoming. Maybe you'll see more of him in the future.
Anyways, this truck is very special as this truck is Henderson's only blue rear loader. I originally believed this truck to be bought in blue but it turns out this truck was purchased in red like the other Republic rear loaders. You can see red paint bleeding all over the truck, which is pretty cool.
This truck is also the 2011 Driver of the Year truck, originally assigned to Keith Pilot, but when automation took over Keith was moved into 1511. Got the opportunity to film him once in 1509 before he retired. Real nice guy! Look forward to that video sometime in the future. I'm glad they kept his name on the doors, makes this truck look so much cooler. You don't get to see a garbage truck with a driver's name on the doors everyday lol.

When I went on east gate and Cape Horn their where tons of cars going into the Henderson transfer station. This blue autocar was out on the street compacting the peoples trash in the back of the line because it was long and I went around the station and a couple blocks away from the Henderson station I saw western elite station

A driver told me this is how you start off by doing RL. I also heard that as you move up in seniority you get set routes. Before that, I think you might be driving everything ASL, FL, and RL.

Nice job it’s nice to see a long Bulk video do residents have to call to schedule the service or is there just specific days when you can put items out and they’ll be picked up?
