Hey everyone! I"m glad you enjoyed the video. I would love for you to subscribe to the channel as I'm making more shorts and content in the future. Thank you for watching!
No
atleast we still have adam west for batman
....wait SHIT
Make your own content and stop stealing the hardwork of other people
THE SADDEST MOMENT EVER FOR THIS SERIES
If you didn't steal content maybe
Someone once said, "If you can't picture your version of Batman comforting a scared child, you're doing it wrong." Kevin was doing it right.
He always had done it right.
I think the end of the quote is "that's just The Punisher in a funny hat"
Hack Snyder comes to mind
This is such a wholesome moment for our Dark Knight, R.I.P Kevin Conroy.
When’d he croaked
RiP 🪦 Nolan As Well 😢
Even in death, the Dark knight will live on in our hearts as our childhood hero. He's probably having a with Stan Lee, Chadwick and Stefan Karl.
It's really been a month? Sheesh
@@Unknownperson-eo6mk don't forget his old friend robin william
"He sat with her until her time came"
Got that always gets me
Me, too. Such a poignant little scene from that series.
When a hand is being held out to you it’s such a strong gesture. It isn’t like a hug or a kiss. It’s like an invitation to share what the other person is feeling. A silent plea to let them lean on you. Even just for a little while
This is all true
Cringe.
Damn bro that's deep😢
@@MS-dc2ttsomeone who will never feel the warmth of hope and love will obviously find this 'cringe'.
@@MS-dc2tt 🤡
This is evidence that not only is Batman one of the greatest superheroes but also Kevin Conroy understood the character so well he delivered every line spoken with true heart and intent on making Batman the hero we all know and love today.
the pain in batman's voice when he confirmed she was dying was conveyed masterfully
Always remember Kevin did at least 4 Wayne voices
Bruce Wayne
Batman
Dream Thomas Wayne
Dream Batman
And each was decidedly distinct.
I remember seeing this and just...teared up. Thank you Kevin Conroy. Rest well...
I've never seen it before, but I couldn't hold back the tears either.
I do not know why I had tears I have seen this since 2011 and I couldn't hold back tears tbh
The gesture to hold her hand in her final moment made it tearful
R.I.P Kevin Conroy
We almost never see batman's soft side. We've seen him sad, and we've seen him angry, but we almost never see this level of empathy. RIP Kevin Conroy. Your Batman shows us all that actions can speak louder than words.
His passing is one that hit me hard. He was my Batman and everyone else was just trying to be him. I had just started watching the original Batman animated series with my little ones. To show them who the “real” Batman is.
Never breaks the Batman persona, but still brimming with empathy. A hell of a performance from a hell of a Batmam
I met him once. It was only for a few minutes. But those were the most cherished few minutes of my life. Even by voice, Kevin Conroy was the best Batman ever.
“I’m dying soon😢”
“Y E S”
You will be missed sir when I was going through my divorce back in 95 I watched a lot of the animated series that I had taped on fox kids watching it help me through a lot difficulties in that time watching it with my son it really takes me back you rest peacefully sir God Bless you and your family ❤🙏🏿🥲
I
I miss him too
Adversity gives you strength.
Kevin was THE Batman
Mark Hamill began his retirement about Kevin Conroy’s passing. Without Batman, crime has no punchline. 😢
All Ace wanted in her final moments was someone to be honest with her and care about her. Kevin Conroy's Batman provided that to her and our entire generation, RIP :(
Rest in peace to the greatest Batman to ever live
same here Velocity this man made the batman animated series and JL one of the most watched animated tv on toonami around the world and beyond this shows that batman has a heart of gold if i was batman i would hugged her really tight and brought her out laid her on the ground gently and tell waller to burn in hell R.I.P KEVIN your one of the better JL
Maaan this episode was my favorite in jlu it showed that batman always had a heart n that he wasnt some heartless fellow rip kevin conroy u will be missed by many
Batman has always reminded me of how Witchers are portrayed and act. Emotionless on the outside in an attempt to avoid sucky situations like this but when they happen he turns into a fluffy bear. Never emotionless, just chooses when to let that emotion out which makes it that much more meaningful when it happens.
It's always true, if you can't think of batman consoling a crying child then you are not thinking of batman, you are thinking of Punisher with a funny hat.
@@endeav0r_49 Well said.
Wat the episode called
That "im sorry" felt so genuine
Got me to tear up for 2 reasons. Ace didn't deserve her end and Kevin made this scene so great. Rest easy Mr Conroy
A beautiful tribute. It's really one of the best scenes of the character in any media portrayal of him.
What was that old saying again?
“Can you imagine your Batman comforting a scared child? If yes, congratulations, that’s a genuine Batman! If no, you haven’t written Batman, you’ve just written Punisher in a funny hat.”
It's a saying i heard years after i saw this episode, but i just took it as natural the moment i heard it because the Batman from my childhood was the prime example of that.
Rest in Peace Kevin Conroy. You truly touched many hearts and you will be missed dearly
Red (OSP) is really brilliant and has such a love for the bat
@@sangdrako i didn't know where the quote came from, just heard it in passing but it made so much sense i didn't question it. I honestly thought one of the writers said it.
Thanks for letting me know where it's from! You happen to have the video where it was originally said?
With 50 years of Punisher material to fall back on, I'd be surprised if he never once comforted a child.
@@Man-vs-Metal to be fair, i don't think i would be. Punisher stories are written about him, well... punishing bad guys.
How's he even gonna end up meeting a kid while murking mobsters? Actually, that might be _worse!_
Dude splatters a whole crime syndicate and then some kid walks in to see their parents as red paint smears on the walls. There's no comforting that 😅
@@droganovic6879 I haven't tracked it down but I may now. They are both such good characters.
In an alternate multiverse Kevin Conroy voiced Punisher and we're starting from an entirely different jump.
The one thing Batman taught me was you don't have to be Super to be a Hero. Even small things make the biggest impacts. Thank you forever giving us the voice of Batman. Rest well Kevin and thank you for everything you gave us. You are my Hero.
Having no powers is what makes Batman so human. Rest in peace Mr. Conroy 🤍
FUCK IDK HOW THEY DID IT BUT IT MAKES ME ALMOST CRY EVERY TIME LIKE THEY HAD NO BUILD UP OR SET UP TO THIS AND ITS STILL SO MOVING
It hurts. Every Time.
Tell me about it 😢
Still does at the end of 2023 for sure 😢😢😢
Rest in Peace Kevin Conroy...Thank you for all the years of joy you brought as The Dark Knight. 🙇🏿🦇
Damn this hits the feelings, Im teary eyed now.
RIP Kevin, you were a part of my childhood, I will never forget your iconic voice
Batman never took on a sidekick that wasn't already destroyed as a human being. He was a hero, teaching them to not be the same monster he and all the villains were. To be better than him . To not become the next Joker. Take a thief to catch a thief, takes a monster to fight monsters, or hopefully a true hero. To a childhood hero, thank you for giving that character an amazing voice. You are missed sir. Batman truly died with you.
“Would you stay with me, I’m scared” 🫡
This is why Batman is literally the best
"If you can't imagine batman comforting a dying child, you haven't drawn batman, you've drawn the Punisher on a funny hat." - Stan Lee
When did he say that?
This episode was by far, one of my favorite episodes, yet people will put it down (before ever watching) simply because it's animated. People are wrong because they assume animation is for kids only! Sad, because their so much talent, and story telling here... that's so adult!
BTAS had some of the most heartfelt moments ever in animation. The first Doctor Freeze with Batman looking down at a miserable Victor as he lamented his lost wife; the child actress cried as she looked at the mirrors and saw the horror she had become.
@@binder38us Honestly? Yeah, Conroy was far & away the best Batman, animated or not. That's what irked me so much about the Nolan trilogy. Christian Bale's 2-pack-a-day-man & Assfleck both tried WAY too hard to lean into "being gritty" to the point where Batman wasn't even a hero anymore, but more of an authoritarian who was thankfully pointed in the right direction for now. There was no sense of heart to him, no humility or sacrifice, and that's what is SUPPOSED to be at the core of being a hero, ESPECIALLY Batman. He's not doing it for revenge, or to punish bad guys. He's doing it to make sure no other kid ends up kneeling and weeping between the bodies of their dead parents. I don't think ANY other Batman REALLY understood that, at least not anywhere even CLOSE to as well as Conroy did.
My Batman growing up
People always forget moments like these.
They should be the ones we remember.
Those heartfelt Batman moments just hit different
Beautiful tribute to great man 😢
RIP BATMAN 😢
Where it from ?
@@lherminespasnet6400 I didn't understand what you are saying.
One of my favorite moments with the DCAU Batman. RIP Kevin Conroy and thank you.
If you're going to die, having Batman be with you at your end is a hell of a way to go.
The legendary Batman is Kevin Conroy.
You can check out my tribute as well.
This clip hits so much differently now. Right on the feels...RIP KC
This episode was one of the only animated scenes that made me cry. He stayed with her. He didnt leave her to die alone. Nobody should die alone.
This is literally the only scene that got me teary eyed in all the animated stuff, including anime, I've ever watched. Most shows spend episodes to seasons to build up this kind of emotional attachment to a character. They did this in a substory of an episode. They don't make them like this anymore.
No words just respect
And this is why there will never be a Batman better than Kevin Conroy. Rest in peace, legend.
The most heroic move he took, was the move he didn't make.
You know… it really both saddens me and warms my heart that this scene has stayed with so many fans for sooooooo long.
The most noble of all the knights.
He truly is a knight.
Batman, not the hero we deserve but the hero we need.
After learning about Kevin's childhood, this scene hits even harder. RIP Kevin Conroy
RIP Kevin Conroy
Kevin you will not be forgotten🦇
I love that scene so much. Batman is such a badass he can keep up with all these metahumans but this girl can read his mind & knows he won't hurt her.
He was the real and best batman if you ask me and no one can change my mind
This was one of those incredible moments that made a Saturday morning cartoon surpass most big budget silver screen productions.
Every time I see this scene I tear up. This is such a sad scene and the only one that Batman could have ever been the one to be with Ace.
His voice will live on in our heads whenever we read the comics.
This just proved that Batman cared about children. He cares for all his children.
Those few and far between moments were he remembers why he does what he does
And shows some humanity to his foe
Kevin really showed what a man slowly losing himself feels like
And for that we'll all miss him
I just watch that episode.

What show is this from ?
This showed how much humanity Batman had. He never intended to kill a girl that was being used as a weapon even if it meant the world ending. He understood more then anyone what it's like to be robbed of a childhood and to become a tool for justice. Rest in peace Kevin Conroy, you were always the best Batman.
Best batman ever. Thank you Kevin Conroy.
I m from india,I'm now 36 years old. I always wanted to meet Kevin Conroy, but that remains a dream now.kevin sir is as great as the creator of Batman Bob kane
🤧 I miss you Kevin Conroy
That was beautiful and heartbreaking
No other person could've voiced such a character better. Thank You Mr. Conroy
Everyone always talks about Batman's fighting ability, his tech, his resolve... Thank you Kevin Conroy for reminding us of his compassion. R.I.P.
Thank you Kevin. ❤ For such an amazing childhood, and adulthood as well. 🙏 It’s moments in shows like THIS, where the ONE character has ZERO emotions. And, he stays with her, and holds her hand. That’s the OTHER reason he’s called “Batman”. The “Bat” is the vigilante. But, the “Man” is who held her hand, as she died. THAT is why Batman will ALWAYS be the BEST of them. He’s a person with a fancy Suit, gadgets/equipment, a car, and a fat bank account. But, he still doesn’t let that change who he is. He was there for her. And ANYBODY who’s a TRUE fan of the show, would confirm that. He may be the coldest one. But, the truth is, he’s also very warm. He was willing to give his OWN life, by going to confront her. She could have done the WORST POSSIBLE damage, and he didn’t care a bit. That’s why he’s Batman. 🙏❤
I love how monotone Kevin’s voice was yet it could convey so much Emotion
It wasn’t laughably gravely like Bale
It was deep and kinda threatening
R.I.P Kevin Conroy, the world’s greatest Batman
Most people assume being a hero is mostly fighting and using cool powers and moves, but this is the real definition of a true hero.
This is a very emotional scene RIP Kevin Conroy you will be missed🌟❤🌷
Damn. I wasn’t expecting that ending you added. Right in the feels. 😢
Proof that great kids shows aren't dumbed down. They have heart and deal with big and complex ideas. Kevin is the best Batman. So much compassion, empathy, and strength. The best Batman ever. RIP Mr. Conroy. You are missed.
You see, Batman's not just a superhero. He's a good guy.
The best Batman cartoon voice ever
For once in my life time, they finally got Batman right. Thank you Kevin.
Batman being Kevin Conroy was amazing
He sees a paraphrase of his own life: a childhood destroyed by crime. It's the kind of experience Batman would be able to absolutely empathize with.
May the man, the myth, the legend....The Dark Knight rest in eternal peace.
Rest in peace Kevin Conroy, for you shall forever live on as the one and only Batman🦇😞
You should never be scared of death just embrace it like an old friend and dance with the grim reaper
Should do a Kevin Conroy compilation of all his emotional moments as he's had some of the most touching Batman scenes of any portrayal
The moment one broken child met another broken child
It's how BATMAN comes through in the clutch. That's what I love about BATMAN.
The VA's for this episode... they did such an excellent job. Not just Kevin, but whoever was voicing Ace... this episode hits me in the feels EVERY time... the "I'm scared" is delivered to perfectly that it wells up the eyes every time, even now, 30-ish years later.
Honestly, Kevin really embodied the role. Everything was just perfect. And you can feel what Batman is feeling because of how good he was
I’ll miss him. The best Batman voice ever 😢
Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are two incredibly iconic and talented voice actors. Too sad that one of them is gone.
My favorite Batman moment. Shows what's he's all about.
I will definitely miss kevin conroy as the best voice behind the curtain. Rip the true batman.
Man, i miss you Kevin 🥺
Thank you Kevin one of the few real "Batman". I have enjoyed watching your adventures all through my youth to adulthood. When my time comes tell me more of your stories, I can't wait.
One of the best scenes depicting what Batman is SUPPOSED to be. RIP Kevin Conroy
Rest in Peace Kevin, you were amazing
The most underrated hero just because he is a normal person who just happens to wear a cape.
RIP Kevin Conroy. One of the best Dark Knight voices of all time. 🦇👨🏻
It's his humanity that makes him one of the best heroes in DC
This is absolutely heart-wrenching. My best friend of 20 years passed away last week and I'm telling you a death like this is not something that passes easily from this world.
When your glad Batman has his one rule. No matter what. He would never kill a child.
That's what makes Batman a true Knight.
