I used to intentionally watch a new Angelina video alone...didn't want to have to make excuses for the tear or two that had leaked out and was working it's way down my cheek. Don't do that anymore...there are quite a few strangers out there who must have wondered why the Sissy Man was crying watching his phone. Imagine the Billions of times that has happened all over the planet when this girl sings.

There are a number of great singers and then there is Angelina Jordan. The others sing but you have to bring your emotions to the performance. When AJ sings she provides the emotion to fill your heart.

She sings as if Heaven flows through her. The voices of those past seem to just reverberate through her, and she sings with such joy, love and passion that you feel it in your heart. It lifts the sole. In medieval literature where they talk about the Bards of old it was known as the "Halo Effect" when a singer can elicit such emotion it's like standing within the halo of an angel. She truly is gifted and loves sharing that gift with us. Bless and be well all.
The baby and very little girl are Angelina's cousins - the preteen girl is Angelina's sister Juliette and the Piano Player is Rob Christie Director of the Republic Records Los Angeles Studio which is the record label that Angelina has been signed with since she was 14 years old.

There is no shame in tears shed when Angelina sings. She doesn't just sing the notes of a song, she sings the emotions. You've heard a song a thousand times, but you never understood the song until Angelina sings it. has been referred to by many fans as a 'Persian Princess', for her
maternal grandmother, renowned artist and poet Mery Zamini, is her-
self Persian. She is extremely prodigious, as her granddaughter is, having
recited her poetry on 'Radio Iran' when she was 4 years old.

The magic of music. Each person has their favorite musical artist. Angelina is easily my favorite of my 64 years. I still listen to other artists and appreciate their music but Angelina is in a different league.

Angelina draws you in so you are waiting in anticipation for the next word, the next syllable to come out of her mouth. Suddenly the lyrics that you had heard thousands of times before seem fresh and you realize that you are feeling the lyrics with a new depth. The piano and the video production are also wonderful on this song. Very well thought out. The camera shots through the mirrors....how the piano starts playing right as Angelina pulls the cloth off the piano.... wonderful.

This was recorded to dust off the history of Elvis Presley ahead of the release of a documentary/movie in the middle of 2022. Tom Hanks played Elvis' manager, Dustin Butler, Elvis. Also this song and many pieces of this video commemorate the 1968 Elvis Comeback Concert that was televised. That red guitar, while not the actual same guitar, same make and model, is one that Elvis barrowed from one of his band members that night because it matched his outfit. The hair an homage to Priscilla. Again you see why Angelina is incomparable! She covers songs and makes them her own. Each special and sensational. Tears are allowed and expected. The baby and young child are Angelina's cousins, Angelina's manager and agent, Uncle Michael Astar's daughters. The other young lady is Juliette, Angelina's younger sister. Tlhis set is an antique furniture store in LA used for several takes of different songs. "Suspicious Minds" was done first and then after a wardrobe change, she sang Whitney Houston's "I Have Nothing." Rob Christie, Head of Studio Productions for Republic Records is accompanying on the piano here on "Suspicious Minds," as he has done often with Angelina. He is a Grammy winner himself. She wears the boots onto the set but sings barefoot as always. She is a gift to us all. After more than 200 covers and a few originals, I have no doubt she is the finest female vocalist to ever live. No one has ever had the combination of talents that this young lady possesses.
Don't leave out Angelina's other niece who is walking and spins into Juliette. There are 3 girls besides Angelina. Just for accuracy. Cheers!

People who have not heard Elvis' rendition need to hear at least a good portion of it (it's long), to really appreciate what Angelina has done with this. Elvis' version is great, and it still is one of my favorites. but Angelina's version is equally great and is definitely her own.
When I first heard this song I loved it and put it at #3 on my playlist (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.), about midday I moved it up to #1. The main thing that changed my mind was the power in her voice. I'm not talking about loudness I'm talking about the power she has regardless of how loud or soft she sings. This is a quality that I haven't heard from anyone in my 83 years. This voice has become so unique that it is totally unmatched.
Her phrasing in the last bridge is great. And she got Elvis’s ‘Oh Yea’ at the end of the song.
The pianist is Rob Christie (3 Grammys), he is the head of the Republic Record department that is responsible for Angelina and other singers.
The two small kids are her uncle Mike's kids, and the older girl is Angelina's sister.

In one episode they Interviewed a Doctor who said he actually prescribes listening to Angelina Jordan to improve their health. He can't explain it, but gas documented proof, it improved their health, God Bless!

I thank you infinitely because you managed to find wonderful words for this masterpiece by Angelina, I remember the first time I saw it I was absolutely speechless for an hour ... I was in a trance for what I had witnessed, I state that when Angelina opens her mouth a masterpiece comes out but, there are 2 covers that literally killed me, apart from the originals, this incredible transcription and, always at 16, "Funny Valentine" in the same location, convinced that there is no such singer world that can only come close to these 2 performances. I keep watching several videos of reactions from critics or music professionals and without a doubt I realize that nobody is prepared to hear Angelina for the first time. The pianist Rob Christie (music studio director of Republic Records distribution of UMG, two-time Grammy winner) changed the musical arrangement and Angelina changed the vocal arrangement, but she didn't change the lyrics. Angelina changes the lyrical structure starting with the bridge and gives the song a different meaning than Felton Jarvis or Mark James , Angelina version absolutely fits the lyric better. Once again, many people don't hear and understand the song until Angelina tells the story. 💯 *AJ* 💯👣 The producer Felton Jarvis from Elvis Presley cleverly covered this *Mark James song from 1968 in 1969* , Elvis' last #1 hit in the US and #7 of his most successful songs. Felton Jarvis took the original country arrangement completely from Mark James and pushed the song with more speed and additional instruments (wind instruments, violin etc.) and a spectacular backing choir (in the studio version).
