Danh Tran is a Vietnamese immigrant who started designing clothes at age 10! He had a mission: make a dress shirt that feels like a T-Shirt! He risked it all to start his company, Buttercloth. Have a look to see how he did in the Tank - and how he's doing in this Season 11 update.

it's cut out. negociation was there and most likely alot longer than even shown in the uncut original version. sharks said that usually a pitch last anywhere from 30min to 2 hours but only 10min or less shown on tv
Vietnamese mindset, not a greedy people
This is actually a heartwarming story, you can tell it means so much to this guy for his family in Vietnam. So proud that he was able to create the American dream. I like this guy hope he makes more money

@@allis8379 In English you use "actually" to express shock vs. expectation. "The unsweetened coffee was actually sweet." "The lemon was actually not sour." "The drill sergeant was actually polite" Notice in each example, you don't say actually unless it's not what you expect, so OP is stating it wasn't expected to be heartwarming as if Asians have a deficiency? (We do not so don't use that word)

“I achieved my American dream” had me tears eyed. People from overseas have such an appreciation for this beautiful country that I honestly dont think Americans have. And it’s not that they don’t love this country but being born in the dream is different than finally reaching it.

That's why we should encourage the americans on the inside who hate america to kick rocks. I'm born American and I wouldnt wanna live in any other country. But the way things have turned for the worse I'm opening up my options.

America is a country where people wirh brown skin(indian immigrants) can be its most successful group the Ceo of google and Microsoft moved to America and within 20 years, led the biggest companies on earth. As the kid of Indian immigrants, i am 100% sure its the best country on earth.

The best part of this is even when the parents dissuaded him early (understandable because most parents, especially here in Asia really value education and career), this kid still gave them respect and admiration in the end. Because at the end of the day, it's still our parents that carried us before we can really rise up. That is something spoiled kids will NEVER understand.

3:53 Ok why am I crying?! This is the best. I used to work for a couple guys who grew up in Vietnam and ended up opening several successful restaurants around NZ. They were so hardworking and NEVER complained. Ever. This guy reminds me of them. What energy - love it! ROOTING FOR YOU, BUTTER CLOTH! Those shirts look bomb.

I can't begin to tell you how special, how inspiring and how heart warming this episode makes me feel. I was hoping that Mr Robert would invest, I really felt that he was the perfect fit. It especially warms my heart to see the success monetarily and on a humanitarian level. I love that Robert has his own collection, he looks great in his shirts. Women like to see a man on a more tapered look. It looks more tailored and classy. How about a small collection of men's and women's that match but start off with neutrals. Many couples like wearing outfits that coordinate. That would be a nice introduction to women's wear as a specialty item. We like a soft great looking shirt too. It's a staple for our capsule wardrobe. I'm glad to see that you are in Los Angeles, I will have to stop in when make a trip to the Bev Ctr. Congratulations all the way around!

Actually its a great product. I've been a customer since I saw them on Shark Tank, and actually own and love their shirts. Short sleeve long sleeve, they are all comfortable and very classy. Its an awesome product.

JUST AFTER 3:48 look at that guys right eye, (the one on the left side if you are looking at him) you can see, for a split second, as he was accepting the offer, there was a twinkle... of hope... and joy... in his eye... rewind it and slow it down several times if you dont believe me

I’ve been hooked to shark tank CZcams videos the last weeks and have watched over 100 videos probably lol. This one is by far my favorite. So much awesome, the reaction to getting the deal is the best haha.
As an immigrant who happily struggled because I know one day I will achieve my American dream, I can assure you, that dreams do come reality with hard work and dedication, I failed many times, I was told no many times, but it only made me stronger and motivated. I'm now the CEO and founder of my own business, living humbly the American dream, I love this country ♥️♥️

Shows that sometimes just accepting the Shark’s given offer is better than trying to over-negotiate. When the shark has a lot of skin in the game, they’re more motivated to devote their effort to you. That results in success for both parties
