It's about the only sports league in America that has the reputation for using it's platform to push that narrative. This might surprise you but white kids have worshipped black athletes with posters on their walls for at least the last sixty years in almost every other sport on the planet that keeps it about the game. The best thing about sports and entertainment is that it brings everyone together in our common humanity and drowns out the negative voices. Holy Crap. These women are amazing. What a post game showing how losing is part of winning. Staying positive throughout. Not sitting there complaining about everything. When you play with CC you learn so much. Her team mates will go on to great things because they are learning from her how to be and look professional, not disgruntled former stars.

Very good interview. I like that CC complimented A Reese's gameplay. I like when our girls on Fever speak positively about other players where reasonable and possible. This loss was not our girls' fault. Well, defense sort of fell sometimes but it was a 1 point loss on the other team's court.
Clark is really articulate and pure class. I really don't understand why people hate on her.

I love Caitlin right there! She answered every questions. She didn't shuck anything. You could see and feel the love for her team mates. She was honest in that they were able to get away with fouls in Atlanta, that she couldn't get away with elsewhere. I just wish the media or the fans (I think it's the media) stay out of it and quit lying. She does well all by herself.

Agreed. Also, although it’s good to have an involved, emotional coach, It wasn’t a good look of her addressing her young team in the final minutes. She was obviously panicking which carried over to her team which made a lot panicky errors at the end which cost them the game. Cool and collected wins!

Months ago, I said I didn't see Clark as a point guard in the W, that was because of how dominant Clark was within the Iowa offense that I did not believe could be duplicated within a league that is the top 144 players in the world (minus those excluded for political reasons). Clark is developing wonderfully as a point guard who places emphasis on running an offense that allows others of the world's top players to score points while Clark gains assists.

No reason to rip the Coach or the players of either team. This is exactly what pro sports needs, competition, drive, intensity, defense and runs to make the fans come to games.
It was a great game. I missed the live broadcast and saw the final score. Even though I knew what the final score was, when I watched the taped version--I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Not enough credit is being given to the Chicago Sky on the defensive and offensive changes they made in the 4th quarter. That was the game inside the game.
Sides is pretending that Caitlin is "just another player".

They were in the game right until the end . A shot or two , a free throw or 2 could have changed the outcome . Chicago executed when it mattered and Indiana didn't . They are a young team , this can be used to teach more then a win might have .
Here is why Catlin is not only a better player then Reese but a better person. The Sky played a good game and Reese had a hood game herself but Catlin has beat her 2 out of 3 games this season. Catlin has broke alot of rookie records this season as well. Catlin is also ranked #1 with rookies. Bur hey Reese had a good game and now let's just give her the ROY I still say it is Catlin.
I agree with all what Clark said. It's all about the team, believing in her teammates, etc. But the last quarter episode was calling for someone in the Fever lineup to take over the game as the Sky was getting runs after runs.
I think, right or wrong, Clark should have taken over in the times the Sky was closing the gap. Had I seen that at least I know the coach did something to stop the bleeding, so to speak.

Caitlin is playing at an all star level. Everyone outside of Boston can’t keep up. Worse is everyone seems intent on trying to shine because of the extra attention CC brings. Know. Your. Roles. Winning doesn’t seem to be a priority for many players or coach. Iowa overachieved because everyone played their role to perfection. A 3-4 shot/gm player wasn’t jacking up 15 shots when their role was 3&D. Set screens. Be ready to shoot in rhythm when wide open. Does this coach want to win? Keep her job? All offense should be run through CC.
