toyota is for old people man no fun with that and i live in australia and ford is equally reliable if not more and check the reviews of ford everest in australia and here even ford ranger ute is beating toyota hilux. new design of fortuner is like for city people who need just car a to b but ford is for passionate people who need car for butch look and more fun. buy innova instead of fortuner. good luck with most dumb cars company.

Indian people dont do any research.. they are still living in stone age.. even in todays world they think maruti suzuki is the best and most reliable car brand.. it might be reliable but only coz their cars are not performance based same as toyota.. just like you said, their cars are for old people.. FORD is for young and passionate people who want cars for passion and their driving pleasure plus road presence.. they still dont know that FORD is one of the most reliable international brands.. In America and Europe, Pickup trucks/SUV's department is ruled by FORD and GM motors with FORD holding the baton.. Toyota is for cheap and budget cars.. open up your minds people and do some research
+GanGsTAbOy You are very true that Indian people think that Maruti Suzuki Best and Most Reliable Automobile brand, but it can be considered as Maruti Suzuki gives great mileage as you can see that Ciaz gives 28.1 Kmpl and the interior and exterior is also impressive, I am not saying that you are wrong or that I support Maruti Suzuki I also have interest in Ford Endeavour

I drive the endeavour daily . Boy! It feels as if you're a pilot with the world under you. A hell of an engine is the 3.2 L 5 cylinder beast.

I'm living in South Africa. Driving the 2.8 ltz 4 x 4 Trailblazer. I will pick it anyday of the week. Driven 1600km not so long ago with 7 passengers, with a trailer..... All adults. No complaints.......The last row is surely proper adult size....Pity u did not have the 4 x 4 TB. It might have swung the vote for sure for it is highly capable.

Yes. Ford Endeavour/Everest doesn't even sell in the US or West Asian countries, so judging it by the American standards wouldn't even be fair.
Endeavour may provide ample features but when it comes to reliability and resale value fortuner has the edge. :) #toyotaforever

i wish ford improves on after sales and engine quality. endeavour would have been my first choice but its no comparison to hassle free ownership of a toyota.
Only 2 airbags on SUV's that cost well over 30 Lakh OTR. Well done Toyota and Chevy, you've really shown us how much the Indian consumers mean to you (That was sarcasm btw). And yes, airbags aren't everything, but if it isn't why do almost all the cars in developing countries like South America and Developed Countries in North America have airbags? Guess we Indians are just built too mazboot 😂 (I'm ranting against Toyota and Chevy here btw not against Autocar).
I agree with each and every point you've made. We have a BMW X3 and believe me, even that gets just 6 bloody airbags!! Its a sad case for indians,just take a look at Volkswagen Polo, my sister just bought one in England and that gets 8 airbags, abs, ebd, edl and loads of weird safety terms which only the likes of 70 lakh plus cars have here in India.

The comparison i was waiting for since ages! Though trailblazer stands no where when you have the fortuner and endeavour standing out there.... my favourite has always been fortuner but since the revised endeavour came out it has got my attention!! Looking forward to buy fortuner this July..! Or could it be The Endeavour :)

Great review. just one correction, Endeavour is Designed/engineered in Australia and manufactured in Thailand, so nothing american about it other than the company name.

They are American pick up trucks (including the Fortuner - based on Toyota Hilux pick up truck) with their flatbeds covered that too with LEAF SPRING suspension.
European SUVs are the proper ones.

The leaf spring thing was a sarcasm. When it comes to engineering Europeans and Japanese does it better. Name some of best ford vehicles Escort Cosworth, Fiesta ST, Focus, RS200, GT40. These are the products of Ford of Europe (Germany). GM doesn't have a Chevy European division although it has Vauxhalls in UK and Opels in Germany. EcoSport is a Brazilian Car. The Endeavour is rebadged Everest, a Thai SUV. The only true american ford car in India are Mustangs (that too has variants with EcoBoost engine - not very mustang).
If you are looking for size y don't u get urself a bus. That'd be big.

Trailblazer does not offer 4wd in India it offers in other countries. I own a trailblazer in Saudi Arabia it has 4WD

Only Toyotas have resale value. Not Hyundai or Ford or VW. But if you want a great car with excellent driveability and full of features, choose the Ford here.
