I discovered Nido through your channel, and it is life changing. I don’t drink milk often, but I use it for cooking. Now, I’m never out of milk when I need it for a recipe, and I’m not wasting leftover milk either. I can’t imagine how much I’ve saved through this tip. I tell everyone about it. I make up 2 cups and keep in a jar in refrig. I love Nido. I also like the Spanish section powder chicken and beef packets. I buy 1 pound of yeast and keep in a jar in refrig. It lasts forever. Soup mixes are also good.
After Christmas look for cocoa flavored mixed reduced for quick sale. You can use in recipes such as brownies instead of cocoa powder and reduce the sugar. I also look for the candied fruit on clearance.

Found out that Nido Fortificada is not 100% cows milk. It contains a lot of soy protein. Asked the company how much is soy, they said it’s their private company information and can’t reveal the percentage. If you’re sensitive to soy or want to avoid it (much of soy is GMO), then please be aware Nido isn’t all dairy milk.

You know what I love the best about your video tutorials is that you don't replay over and over again the same beginning introduction that lasts 3 to 4 minutes. That gets old real quick after seeing it 4 to 5 times that other you tubers do to their videos. You get right to the point and teach which I appreciate so much.

Yes, jello is safe for people who are dehydrated from a gut issue or post surgery as it is a clear liquid. You can drink it warm for a warming sugary energy booster or chill it and use it as a cooling treat. People who watch their carbs can utilize the sugar free versions. Great list Granny.
I managed to dehydrate some scrambled eggs but nothing raw, ... yet.
I'm really going to try to keep my small flock of hens going for fresh eggs and barring all Foxes, Raccoons, Hawks, and Bird-Flu, ... I just might be able to do it too.
I'll soon have to let the rooster out with the hens again to make sure my eggs are fertile for hatching and I can only pray that my little red hen goes broody again because the incubator doesn't get the results that natural hatching does. I'm lucky to get a 50% hatch rate with the incubator.
I'm blessed to have a Bulk Barn Store that sells bulk Mac and Cheese Mix made with real cheese so I've been packing that stuff away in Mason jars with an oxygen absorber.
Then there was the time I found numerous plastic jars of grated Parmesan cheese in the dumpster. I was told that it didn't go bad and so far it's true. I just opened a jar that must be two years past its BBD and you'd never know it.
I only wish we had a local supply of that butter powder. I don't do much buying over the internet. So I've made Ghee and have plans to can some butter without clarifying it.
    Have a great one Granny!

My local grocer sells Crystal Farms parm. in a smaller container, and in my opinion it tastes better than the Kraft brand. I store a few in my freezer, if the power goes out for a long time they will still be good while sealed, and when I open them, they will stay fresh long enough until I use up the small amount.

In Australia we have Kakadu Plum Powder. Kakadu Plum has been used by Aboriginals for thousands of years (their culture is 65,000 years old btw) to treat headaches and infections. It has antibacterial and anticancer properties. But the reason I use it in shakes and on salads is that it has 100% more vitamin C than oranges. Kakadu Plum has the world's highest level of natural vitamin C. Tang has synthetic vitamin C and yellow colouring that has been linked to cancer. Even one of your astronauts said it is terrible for you. I mix Kadadu plum powder with my collagen for super amazing skin. You can't absorb collagen without vitamin C. Kakadu plum powder is expensive but you only need a teaspoon to get the benefits. I get mine from Purewellness bulk supply in Queensland Australia, they are the cheapest I've found. Also I store broccoli sprout seeds, which isn't a powder but makes up nutrient dense sprouts in 7 days that are excellent for breast and other cancers😊😊

1 Tbsp each, garlic pwd, onion pwd, smoked paprika, basil dried
      2 teaspoons Tony cachere
Shake - mix well, put in plastic bag
Soak eggplant inch thick fries in cold water first, it keeps them from turning brown & batter sticks better
Don't have to peel but you can.
Put in oven. She didn't say how long.
Keep left over batter in bag. If it gets gummy, put in a baking dish under broiler and dry out. Save.
      This was from Homestead Heart.

Powdered dry nonfat milk is a good backup when your stores of canned evaporated milk start running low. I also like to keep a large stockpile of mashed potatoes along with a variety of gravy mixes, including country, brown, chicken, turkey and pork. Along with grits I have cream of wheat (aka farina), oatmeal (I prefer old fashion) and white rice. Grits can be ground to a flour and used to make white corn tortillas when cornmeal is not available. Rice can also be ground to a powder and used as flour, a thickening agent or a desperate milk substitute when mixed with water.

I have just about everything listed except for peanut butter powder (because of my peanut allergy). The things that stand out as missing from the list are powdered Gatorade, very useful to restore electrolyte imbalance due to heat stroke or fever, and Nesquick (chocolate or strawberry) to make reconstituted powdered milk more palatable to kids. I'm not sure about the shelf life of Ovaltine, a somewhat similar powdered product but isn't it fortified with vitamins? Ice tea and lemonade powders have a decent shelf life as well and they are mostly sugar (which is another item missing from the list).
If you're using a Berkey or other high efficiency filter system to purify possibly contaminated city or well water, or even collected rainwater or questionable surface water, having a few bottles of colloidial mineral solution around is a good idea. It restores natural mineral levels without the potential contaminants, and improves the flat taste of some processed water.
My only other suggestion is jars of chili and taco seasoning. You might find those very useful if you're ever reduced to hunting for (or more efficiently: trapping) small game.
