If you have a big mac burger , why not add new flavors and condiments into the mix rather then simplifying the burger until the concept of the Big Mac does not exist. The reason why Lost In The Echo is their best work on this album is because it does not get rid of the originality of their rap rock elements but merely adds new flavors and styles of electronic music into the concept of the music without taking away the limelight from the rock and hip hop. If most of the album had the style of Lost In The Echo in their songs, then the album would have been groundbreaking and probably even more incredible the HT and Meteora. It's a shame because this album had a lot of potential to be amazing rather then just being a good or decent album.

The big difference is that this song sounds more electronic than any HT or Meteora song and ATS was purely more electronic, hence the ATS influence. That's just how i see it but i am just curious as to why you disagree. i just wish they kept this kind of style on wards throughout the album and even with THP.
Evan Urena They are completely unique genres - HT&M were 2000s nu-metal & industrial, ATS was a strange concept album (wasnt even all electro) and LT was electro (rap) rock - I don't think the structure, theme or style are similar at all. Their singing/rapping/screaming style/flow/intensity are similar to the past albums. They have gone out of their way to make each album different since meteora and same with THP .

Apesar das mudanças (muito criticadas diga-se de passagem, pelos fãs mais velhos) eles mantiveram a qualidade e evoluíram, a inteligência essencial do Mike faz com que nunca falte criatividade nos imprevisíveis lançamentos da banda, nunca se sabe o que pode vir, nada é igual, mas sabe-se que será bom. Minutes, A Thousand Suns, Living Things, todos ótimos, geniais... E o atual e nostálgico The Hunting Party, muito foda, amo essas músicas! E que virá para 2016? Ansioso pelo novo CD!!!
