You know being a fan now of only four months because I was so close minded about metal back in the day I really missed out. This Nu-Metal as they called it pushed me away and it did need a makeover bless these guys for that. But I would do anything to have seen them live they put their hearts and soul into it and my god are they talented. And Chester is one of the most talented if not the most talented singer I’ve ever seen. The range the vocal fry, I suffer from the same affliction and I understand why he needed to rest. I’ve been telling myself it’s time to rest since I was 11 years and the soul just gets more and more tired. I trudge through every day and I find something to hold on for and it’s really hard sometimes there’s no options. Godspeed to him. He helped so many people, he even helped me who has been fighting this for decades. Reading a little of his life story it mirrors mine and it lets me know why I attached so quickly to his pain in his vocals, because it’s genuine. There is no manufactured pain there, that is undeniably real. He makes me cry because I feel exactly what he’s going through. And the lyrics they really know how to hit home with me. Crawling tears me to pieces and a Place for my head. So many songs just make me cry. And I played in bands when I was younger from 15 until about 27 until the affliction and the addictions took it all away from me. When I would sing they called me crybaby because I was always crying and I am so happy that I was open minded enough going through one of my deep depression’s to listen to LINKIN PARK just four months ago and it never gets old, every song just gets better each time thank you guys God bless you all.
It makes me so happy that I can hear this performance again after losing my DVD so many years ago
