- Marina Satti, Greece's 2024 Eurovision act, has given a musical shout-out to the Balkans and Turkey through her entry "Zari" that combines ethnic elements of Greek culture mixed with reggaeton beats and a modern look on the Greek identity, culture and way of life.
She especially mentioned Romania and Bulgaria amongst others as both of them are currently not taking part in the contest - and we are more than happy to hear and see so much Romanian representation through music this year! More than ever, we all need to become #unitedbymusic. Thank you, Marina!

Have you ever thought that people might like her music but not her behaviour or her personality or whatever? One thing doesnt contradict the other. Like, I love the beeatles but I cant bring myself to like john lenon as a person. You guys put people either in pedestals or in sh*tholes...
@-Alex-Connor- Looκ at what you're saying, to come to know someone as a personality, it demands getting to know his/her work, watching interviews so as to form opinion on solid information. When info comes from biased sources and it is doubtful that you even know something about her, then you come to mistranslate a personality, even from small gestures and wrong timing.
We know what Marina is and wish that she will do even more as an artist, even if she had not competed in the ESC. It is exactly how anyone, in any country, feels for their artists to represent them.
Putting someone on pedestal or a shit*hole as you say, that was not our tactics, but came from those who actually felt too easy too big to go little towards her.
@@loukas76gr. Idk why you single targeted the word personality when I also included behaviour and whatever. You might know Marina and her career but many don't and only have very little to judge her from. That very little might rub people the wrong or the right way, that's what first impressions are for. Now, I don't think people should go full hate mode on the girl over a specific situation but you cannot tell them to just be fine with it either just because you like her and know her better. People should give it the proportionate amount of importance. If you want to call them out for being excessive in the way they're criticizing her and defend her go ahead, but calling others _"blinded haters"_ because _"in fact they show great admiration for her and she'll become their guilty pleasure"_ is boderline excessive on it's own and sounds almost like fanfiction. It doesn't make you any better than them. Marina is after all no goddess nor immune to criticism no matter how much you adore her.

- Behaviour is a basic manifestation of one's personality, so when I wrote personality I included it as well.
- Defending someone you believe in in a good manner is rather an antidote to the toxicity he/she receives from different corners.
- Small behaviour, because they keep spitting poison in various ways and expressions.
- Blinded haters, because they know almost nothing about the artist, still they choose to trust only biased sources.
- Going round and commenting inappropriately under each single video of hers rather shows a connection to the song and the performer. If it was repulsive, then they would simply disconnect.

If you think people should get to know Marina before coming here judging her (which I agree), then you gotta apply that to other people as well. Moderation from both sides is key.

- Again you're not being any better than them. You can certainly call them out as much as you want or feel it's needed, but without falling into hypocrisy or exaggeration. Besides, you're a fan, it's not like you're a trusted source yourself, no offense...
- I agree, people don't have to go for a "witch hunt", but that doesn't necessarily mean they're connected to the song or to the performer. That might be the case for some, but others might have left a comment once or twice, others might be trolls. You just don't know. I agree with you that people should simply disconnect and I'd actually even apply that to people like Marina and others when it came to the infamous b-cott. But let's be honest, if artists can't do it for their own activism, don't expect the avg fan to do it either (that includes me, can't speak for you)...
