@@riizeaf well I don't know if that information is true, I found it somewhere on the internet. if 99% of the world thinks you're unattractive, there is still 1% that thinks you're attractive, and I guess someone did the math and came out with the answer - 75,000,000. so when you put it like that, that is still a lot of people who think you're attractive and it's kind of comforting to think like that (for all those who are not confident in themselves)

Lee Yeongja hit the nail on the head, it didn't sound like love when she was talking about her daughter and so really she had to ask. It's not nice growing up in a cold environment.
The mother in the first concern is so harsh on her daughter. I know she made a mistake, but it was in the past. now she's working hard, how can she not forget about the past and seek revenge, it was from the past. she was just a teen. i was so shocked when her mother said she don't like her daughter and she even not talk to her for a long time. I really hope the mother change her attitude and treat her daughter kind.
if i did that my mother would have yelled at me and would start crying and just by seeing my mum i would stop it immedietly and seek help. i can understand that her mom got a shock but taking for 3 months is too much.

I am 100% certain that mother in the first concern either grew up as an orphan or without the nurture of a mother figure in her life. She kept saying she doesn't know how to be a parent cuz it's her first time? Everyone is a parent for the first time when they become one!! I honestly cant believe the husband can have any affection towards a woman who treats their child like this
I am not a mental health expert in any way, but the entire family dynamic is telling me the mother miiiight struggle with narcissistic personality disorder. The other sister mentions she always has to act cute and be nice to the mom, and then later also said she "forgets the bad things very quickly", even the husband helping the daughter in secret, it's like everyone is scared of the mother, dead giveaway.
It's not her first time. She parented her older daughter who, by the way, couldn't hide her jealousy when the boyfriend was introduced.
The guy in the second concern, is really handsome. I hope he realizes it soon and can live a happy life with not many worries in the future!!

Out of all the concerns I've watched until now, the first concern gave me hope that people CAN repent. The mother looked genuinely apologetic towards the end and Yeongja crying made me cry as well. I even had this high pitched voice when my mom called me XD T_T I hope things will get better for her, In Shaa Allah.
I'm pursuing my license as a psychologist and as a person who studied parenting, I didn't see the mother repenting. Seeing the inconsistency in her argument and the 2nd child's story, I can say for sure that the mother was a toxic parent. I saw signs of psychopathy in the mother. That mother was manipulative and narcissistic. All that inconsistency happen because she just wanted to defend herself and put her child as a wrong party. The older sister was the same as her mother. That mother was like that for years and definitely said she wanted to revenge her 2nd child. Try to see how she threatened the father for not helping the 2nd daughter. It's an obvious sign that she wanted to hurt her 2nd child. We need to see the audience's role in her reaction. She cannot buy the audience with her argument that her daughter was the wrong one and I saw repressed anger in her expressions when everyone siding with her daughter. Honestly, I got a bit concerned for what will the daughter got from her mother after this show. She could get worse treatment since if that mother is a real psychopath and manipulative person, she can't take being blamed. She can do the worst revenge to her 2nd daughter for making her being blamed by all the people. That pity girl definitely needs some help from government agency.

Everyone is different!! She was going through puberty. I’m sure she must be depressed too. The mother if you really love her , you wouldn’t do that . The mom is telling only her problems, listen to your daughter. I wish the girl just move out and live her life !’
I agree, but if her family won't help her financially and she is having problems even paying for transportation and food it seems highly unlikely that moving out is even a possibility.
I know that in most western countries students will start working during their high school years to get their allowance and I think it's good and their parents let them do it because the children will learn to work hard and realise the value of money but here in the first concern the mother isn't doing it because she wants her daughter to become independent but more importantly for revenge. She keeps on mentioning that she wants revenge and she also said she doesn't like her. This reason isn't a good enough reason for that behaviour. I know she did some stupid things but she was young and trying new things but the older she got she started acting maturely but the mother is taking her revenge.The entire family ignores the girl. Even when she was sick no one cared enough to message her and ask how she is. What Youngja said was right they don't have the love in the relationship but rather it feels like a forced relationship between two people who need to be civil with one another.I really think the family needs to go to some psychologist and get everything out into the open. I really wish their relationship improves and they have lots of love for eachother.
right?! And like if the other family members don't want to incur the wrath of the mother they could have texted her outside of the family chat room and asked her if she was okay. The mother is not the only one that is cruel.

I cried when I heard the first concern. How can a mother do that to her own daughter? Bloody hell, I get she made a mistake-but that doesn’t mean you must act like a kid and take revenge on your own blood like she’s your enemy 😭 I sincerely hope things get better for the younger daughter and that her mum starts acting a whole lot nicer to her-not just a little. Cuz damn that family needs help😭
The guy in the second concern is so cute! Oh my gosh xD And man, bullying really messed things up for him :( he needs more than compliments to actually accept himself.
With the 1st concern, my thing is no one even asked why she started to smoke and drink in high school especially as she shared that something horrible happened to her in middle school. You think instead of punishing her for behavior you don't approve of there would some desire to find the cause of the behavior. Also most people focus on the mother, but the father and sister are just as cruel, like you can text and ask if someone is okay outside of the family chatroom.
The second guy has body dysmorphia, I have it too, growing up I was told to my face that I was ugly a lot, even now that people tends to tell me I am pretty I just can't see it, it's really hard because you actually feel like every flaw is all that can be seen, confidence is smth that comes just fleetingly and not often, you feel disgusting like you are just a mistake and even taking a simple picture becomes a nightmare.
so please be understanding and don't tell people to just cheer up and be confident, it is not that simple cause the problem is not on the eyes but on the brain.

That guy who lost weight from drinking a lot of water is amazing... I couldn't drink that much water even if I wanted to... then again he gets a lot of symptoms from drinking a lot of water and caffeine ...

While it’s normal in many asian families to give you an allowance, I can’t help but think of my many white friends who has to help pay for rent once they got a part time job.
Yes same, I paid for everything I needed starting from 15years old (everything except rent) and I also gave my parents money. I had to pay for many groceries too. And I gave a lot to my little brother as well. Now that I'm 18 I still take care of my family but I'm just glad that with me working hard it's all financially possible🙂

That first girl...wow....i just wanna say that i come from norway, and we are the country in the world with most uni students working part time, also in high school (im in high school with no job and im 18, and people Ask me why i dont work, and that i should try Harder to Get work)
Here youre kinda seen as «spoiled» If you dont work part time Jobs beside school but rather Get money from parents - cultures are different
I was crying a lot because I felt bad and heart broken for the first guest. This happened to my mom as well. Her single mother never showed affection to my mom and her sisters their entire life. Then my mom did the same with me by repeating the pattern. I thought most of my life she did not love me since only I showed her love and affection and she was bothered and complained if I was affectionate towards her.

we’re not all alcoholic as a teen in france, it’s more smoking cigarettes (with or without filter) and some soft(??) drugs occasionally in high school but i don’t hear a lot about drinking alcohol as a teenager

With the third concern, I feel like the mom might be a bit ‘simple’. I think that’s why her son grew up a bit awkward, and why he wants to protect her. She seems very sweet, I hope they can each live their life to the fullest :)

Many parents that were raised without their parent’s love or affection end up doing the same mistake with their own children or use that as an excuse for never loving their children or showing them affection. They should never use that as an excuse and try their hardest to be different than how their parents were with them growing up to their children by not repeating the same mistakes and patterns. They should do the opposite with their children that their parents were with them.

The mother in the first concern is so mercenary. tbh, i really hate and have no respect watching her during the session. she's like an evil, look at her hair, ew she's too old too dye her hair. how did she treat her daughter like that?! Just because of her mistakes in the past. how could she want to seek revenge her daughter?! Does that make sense?! Why she can't forgive her daughter?! Is her heart made of stone?! Did she don't feel pity to see her daughter have trouble like that?! What's in her head?! The mother must change her attitude, she must forgive her daughter and let her mistakes in the past just for memories. She must open her heart for her daughter. Age not reflect a person but the attitude that determines how an adult person. From what I saw her mother is not very wise and mature in dealing with something she's like a moody kids SO IMMATURE gross!
its so sad how the both guys from the second and third concerns were bullied by their classmates for no reason...they both seem so sweet and its unfair how much its affected them later down the line. nobody deserves to be treated in such a way!

The mother in the first concern has at least 8 traits of a narcissist! She has no affection for her husband and kids! She gives them the silent treatment for doing anything she doesn't like! The second daughter doesn't conform to what she wants and that's why she feels the need to punish and dominate her! I'm not an expert though
