I made similar deck of iron vilant but with iron leaves not iron thorns (there wasn't this card yet) and with same energy acceleration system, im glad future box is a thing i will try it for sure

Was hoping to see a battle against a gardivour deck, while iron thorns can block the gardivour, I tend to find them running either fluttering mane or the clink Pokémon that can block iron thorns ability, allowing them to apply energy
Ran into Valiant ex + Pult ex and that gave me a whooping. Don’t even need TM: Devo because they’re dead before you can evolve them in the first placr

I’m a genuine believer in almost any Future Box archetype. It’s got potential to win big tournaments in the right hands.

My friend told me, when iron thorns gets out in the field. You better prepare for iron valiant that comes with it. And he's right, the online tournament is the proof
I've been on future box since the start of the format basically, but my list is way more toolbox than this one, while the one showed in the video has a more precise plan that honestly looks very good, my only problem with that is that there's no iron leaves for charizard, because let me tell you, de-evo is not enough. But even then I'd like to try a variant of this list, it looks very cool

In all 4 games the opponent could NOT immediately KO the Valiant/Thorns that got energy from Peak Acceleration. This is a common situation right now which can make it hard to get back into the game. It is safer to load up 2 attackers with Peak Acceleration and then get up to 3 with manual attach and Reboot Pod, but of course this is harder to pull off.

First match-up: Yes iron thorns is absolutely nuts here. Your preventing their draw engine AND the VSTAR to get more dragons into the discard. Drago/Raging bolt on pure top deck draws is crippled
