As a vocal coach of 3 decades, I’ll just go ahead and state this as fact: no one can sing like this in current country. Lol no...I know who you’re thinking. No, she cannot sing like this. The depth of tone, the perfect vibrato, the tasteful and heartfelt rasp toward the end, the high notes that ping instead of scream. No, Carrie doesn’t do this. No, Maren doesn’t do this. And it seems that no one wants to hear voices like this anymore. We have an entire generation that actually think Taylor Swift is the greatest vocalist on earth for Christ’s sake.
Carrie can sing circles around Faith. I like Faith for nostalgia's sake, but she has never been consistent as a live singer, and it's almost like she either needs to be duetting or have a producer to reign her in so that she avoids some of the clumsy ad libs that she gets into here. Carrie is a bit monochromatic, but in terms of range, agility, consistency, discipline, she will always best Faith.
Whoever says Carrie is better than faith is smoking weed. Faith is top tier class. I saw her live in LA. Let me tell you. That woman's voice is pure and rich. I like Carrie too, but Faith is in a league above her🤘💙
