Addressing the thing with shape being a problem, to mitigate it make sure blasters are vibrant colors. If shape was a problem then many blasters are basically out of the hobby
So this may just be a Texas thing, but I've been rocking black and gold blasters for a while and I'm running a zinc as a primary with a black frame and gold slide, however I have a 6 inch orange muzzle break and I haven't had any problems with it in public
I'm pretty sure the thumbnail is a reference to Hitman (Agent 47). I got a mk2 and I personally prefer an internal mag/breach so I could just reload with wild darts and be ready to go. Zinc has some pros but the proprietary mags isn't my cup of tea.
Both are pretty nice but like most blasters that have been coming out lately they just cost more than I am willing to pay. I honestly just stick to full lengths as the size of the lm leads to proportions being different enough from real guns that I am okay using them outdoors and most people use them anyway. Whenever a blaster is over 50 dollars I just see it as something only exists on CZcams, if it is around 50 it usually has to be a primary blaster for me to consider buying as I won't get to use it very much.
Of course its up to you and your financial position but I've been lucky to get some really nice competitive blasters like a metal modded nexus and an auto swordfish that both use half lengths. I think you should transition to half lengths if you're looking to up your game. I recently shot a full length and found it hilarious to watch it spiral upwards and away from the target

@@reeces.pieces3 you speak from experience? I do. damn those trigger pulls are worse than those flywheel revolvers like a stockade or ultra 2 or god forbid that new nerf lmtd needler stockade reshell.

that zinc looks like a lot better print quality then the one nerfing lionheart got from frontline foam lol, not only is the massed produced one a better value normally, but also injection moulding is lighter and studier, and wont melt lul
Alternately, if you have a 3D printer, you can make as many as you want for a little bit of plastic and half a talon spring. The 13 round variants are great.
Dude I'll just run around like john wick in my backyard with either of these, though I am making some serious considerations for splooging the $150 for the build kit and darts on the Zinc 2.0
Just got my blue and Orange Zinc 2.0, I've been testing it out and plinking and I'm in love, mine is a bit different it has a barrel extension that has a built in SCAR, and undermounted crooked cousin for mega darts. Mine hits 170 consistently. And has a spring assisted mag release. It's a beast! I can't wait to take It to games
I love my MK2, being 5'4" the grip size is a big factor for me. The size of the MK2 is about as large as I like to go. The Rival Apollo and Helios are at the extreme range of what feel comfortable using. Drac's T-pull does make priming much easier.
The mk2 is a pistol. That makes it fundamentally different to a primary like a nexus, prophecy/retaliator, swift or stryfe/swordfish and should be treated differently. A your primary is what you shoot most people with. Your secondary is usually what you will use when you need to go fast or your primary needs to be reloaded in the middle of a confrontation.
Sometimes I think that's what nerf is about. Don't get me wrong, I love low profile/sleek high performance blasters, but something about chonky and silly looking blasters firing foam is just plain silly fun. Like the twin strike (I think that's what it's called? The really big 10 shot under prime mega shotgun) and the big build in mag dart tag blaster (don't remember the name) comically large stuff like that
Very nice review. Ordered the Zinc 2.0 as it uses magazines vs speed loaders. Due to the good ergonomics I'm okay that it doesn't use Talon mags. Went with an orange slide and blue grip. Do you ever accidentally bump the Zinc's magazine release?

To be fair it's frontline foam not exactly a very creator respecting and print quality company, try getting one from a experienced local nerfer
If you print with PET-G instead of PLA filament it won't melt

Damn, I really want a Zinc in White orange and black, looks sick
I like the magazine fed one more but i think the mark two is easier to use
I have none of these lol
I really hope they can find a way to integrate single action in the zinc
is there a link for the mag holder?
Wow! That thing is rad! It's a legit SIG modeled pistol! 👍🏻
I agree with you, it's more a specialty buy. hope someday I'll get my hands on one 🤤

that target you use did you make it or buy it
and the 3D printed blasters how do hold up playing out in the heat
Why does the orange mk 2 have increased fps than the red one
Dart Zone Pro MK2 is almost 200 dollars in Europe, due to shipping and import costs. So not much difference for us here on the other side of the pond.
