I have both of these blasters, and out of the box, they're basically the same blaster. The availability of the Nexus Pro is better right now because the Stryker is was just released and you can't find the Stryker on shelves. In six months, the availability will be the same, as will the availability of aftermarket parts. For simple upgrades, the Stryker will take almost all of the spring and spacer mods that are currently available for the Nexus Pro. It really just comes down to personal preference on form factor and aesthetics.

The Stryker pump grip is more comfortable and allows a smoother transition from reloading to pushing the pump grip to forward position. You have to wrap your hand around the vertical grip on the nexus. The nexus ergonomics make more sense if your rapid firing which isn't ideal due to the lack of slam fire.

All I know is that I have an upgraded spring with the biggest spacer I can get attached to my nexus and it is really difficult for most to prime. I switched that spring and spacer over to the styker and maaaaaan, it is a lot easier. Idk what the difference in guts are but I know the styker gets #1 in my book

forgrip drives the force in line with the spring, vfg has a longer moment away from the fulcrum, which is wasted effort. (I have an upgraded spring in mine and switching to afg completely changed how my nexus works, would recommend)

While I do have both blasters, living in NYC means that we don't have any Walmart stores locally. Getting the Nexus Pro at release was almost impossible due to it being sold out online for a while. On the other side, I was able to walk a short distance to my local Target and pick up a Stryker and a pack of half lengths rather easily on release day. I'm also surprised that the Stryker is still available online unlike the Nexus Pro which had any and every restock on Walmart's site sell out almost instantly when it first came out. It's so easy to get here in NYC that my friend got one for himself at his local Target in Staten Island after seeing me walk out with one. I really have to applaud Dart Zone for making it so easy to acquire on release day.
Release day availability aside, there are some things that are better and worse on each blaster for me personally. I have a rather slender build and even though I'm wearing slightly large tactical gloves, my fingers tend to cramp up rather uncomfortably on the grooves on the Stryker's grip. That being said, the pump grip on the Stryker feels a little more robust than the foregrip on the Nexus Pro. I don't know how to describe it but the torque required to prime the blaster feels like it will be less prone to breaking on the Stryker due to the way the priming bar is. It might have to do with the angled foregrip exerting pressure in a strange way but only time will tell. The scope on the Stryker looks cool but that's really it. In an actual outdoor battle, the grenadier sights are much more practical given how dart blasters actually perform. As for the stock, I'm a sucker for a nice cheek rest so the Stryker wins on that front.
This is just my own personal take on the STOCK versions of the blaster. I've already done a few minor mods to my Nexus Pro and I am definitely looking forward to seeing more mod parts for the Stryker release over time. As of right now, even though I have an issue with the chonky grip, I do like the fact that I can just go to my local Target and grab a Stryker off the shelf but this is because we don't have Walmart here in NYC.

Something I haven't seen mentioned much, that I found with my Max Stryker is they appear to have improved the wildcard adapter. Many noted that with the Nexus and Aeon pro version, it was possible to short the insertion as the first catch would feel like the mag was fully inserted. On the Stryker, this doesn't seem to happen.

Speaking of add ons. I like the way the Stryker feels when primed with a 175 tuning cap over the Nexus. But, I haven't found a scar barrel that works properly on a Stryker. It's a mystery. I've tried a Pentavictus and a Choo Choo scar, but both brought down the fps drastically. They work great on the Nexus, Aeon and conquest, but a no go on the Stryker. Great video guys, I enjoyed the comparisons and agree both are great blasters for $50!

I just have this faint feeling that I like the Nexus just a little bit more, maybe because I've seen it more, and I like the styling just a tad nor than the Stryker. I also like the color a little more, as well as the fact that the Nexus "flashhider" can shoot Mega and Rival, I've even heard it can shoot Ultra! I don’t have any experience with short darts or short dart blasters. I also live in NW Florida btw bc ive heard Coop772 say something about weather slightly affecting performance. Should i buy one of these and some short darts and mags, or is there a better blaster for getting into the short dart game. And where can I find darts and mags that preform best for these if i did get one?

Were both blasters new? If the Nexus was used for a year+ inside/out then that could be a variable to take into consideration as to why it had a lower fps

The only reason to not use the Stryker is literally the grip for the pump.
In all other aspects it's the same as the nexus, except it has a different pump grip.

You know the funny thing? They’re both made by the same people, dart zone, adventure force is just the Walmart (I think) brand for buzzbee, x shot, and dart zone, so they’re from the same people, and they’re the same blaster, pump action, mag fed and both able to use half length darts, they’re the same thing, it all comes down to preference. They both rock.

so you can unscrew the nexus pro vertical grip and attach a piccatinny grip, so if the Stryker has the same set up thenues

    Hi,
I have a question regarding the colonel wasp firefly, but sadly i can't contact monkee mods via Facebook. The only responce i get is an automatic message stating that they are closed at the moment without any alternative contact methods.. does anyone know what is going on there? Since i rather not want to just order items if the company isn't able to communicate..

I’m planning 2 go all Dart Zone Pro, so I think imma go with the Max Stryker (I no the adventure force tactical strike blasters r made by dart zone, but none of them r red, and I’m the kind of mf who gets really bugged abt not everything matching)
