  • Sexually Transmitted Infections: Gonorrhea & Chlamydia | Gonorrhea & Chlamydia Signs and Treatment
    Hello everyone,
B&B The Community NPs Channel is updated with a new video. This video is about Gonorrhea and chlamydia are a couple of sexually transmitted infections.
Sexually transmitted infraction. so how do you get the infection?
It used to be called STDs and I think that's what most people still do it is by having unprotective sex oral regular anal all of them can you can get. you can transmit st eyes that way so we're gonna break this series down so today we're gonna really focus on just talking about some of the facts about STI's and chlamydia and gonorrhea and then every week we'll do a different topic on so there plenty so our stis.
Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD) that can infect both men and women. It can cause infections in the genitals, rectum, and throat. It is a very common infection, especially among young people ages 15-24 years.
“Sexually transmitted infections (STIs)”, and it blew my mind. Worldwide more than 1 million people are infected with a sexually transmitted disease (STD) each and every day. That is a lot of people, and some of those cases should be preventable with the right information and education. So, I thought that is a great opportunity for me to make a video on STDs, and spread more awareness.
STDs are spread through sexual contact (without a condom) with someone who has an STD. Sexual contact includes oral, anal, and vaginal sex, as well as genital skin-to-skin contact. While condoms are effective, HPV and HSV can be spread by contact with the area around the genitals not protected by the condom.
Most STDs affect both men and women, but in many cases, the health problems they cause can be more severe for women. If a pregnant woman has an STD, it can cause serious health problems for the baby.
If you have an STD caused by bacteria or parasites, your health care provider can treat it with antibiotics or other medicines. If you have an STD caused by a virus, there is no cure. Sometimes medicines can keep the disease under control. Correct usage of latex condoms greatly reduces but does not completely eliminate, the risk of catching or spreading STDs.
Thanks for watching the video.Hope you enjoy ed the whole video. What are the common sexually transmitted infections? please let me know in the comments or contact me through social media.
