- I've been pretty quiet due to some experimenting I didn't want to record. It's been too long, so here is an exploratory Jam using the Terra as an MPE controller for Arturia's Augmented Yangtzee instrument (fucking dope)
Ritusen Scale B key
Lyra on pulsing bass drone, Cosmos processing both Yangtze and the Enner.
Just some fun texture exploration :)
You can see that you love what you do, when you play you are really addicted to music!
I just love making noise haha. It's like impressionist art, except instead of it being on paper, it's through time.
It's pretty easy to get lost in this rig once I have some good sounds Interacting with each other.
I am working on exploring the Lyra, and I have found some good dark territory to play in. I have the Torso Electronics S4 arriving today, and I will be working on some Lyra+S4 pieces this week :)
I have to agree with you completely Maurizio 👌🎧✨🤍💫
I like the way you float the Yangtze instrument phrases over the ambient drones, very nice.
Hey Greg!
This was pretty underbaked lol, I was feeling a bit weird not having recorded anything due to learning gear behind the scenes and wanted to at least get something recorded. The S4 is slowing me down again, but I have gotten some awesome stuff out of it by feeding it the Lyra audio and my Strega sample pack.
Beautifully crafted piece!
Thanks, Jon!
It been a while since I've recorded something new. I wish I had the hard drive space to record every session, I've found and lost some really cool vibes lol
S4 arrives tomorrow and I'll be tinkering away all weekend. I imagine I'll have some stuff to share with the setup I am focusing on this week
Fascinating on several levels. I lived in Japan for a few years and heard this scale a lot in various traditional musics. I love what you’ve done with it. Really imaginative composition.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, and thanks for watching!
This was more of a spur of the moment noodling session I decided to start recording haha. I am an anime nerd and I really love this Augmented Yangtze. I haven't even dug around with the presets yet as my attention has been exploring the Lyra and S4 setup.
I'm starting to observe that all of your works are uniquely different and present their own sonic puzzles.
Hey LBZ!
Yeah... I'm in my exploratory phase right now. Sometimes, when I get new stuff in, it pulls me in other directions than my comfort zone.
I am really loving this Augmented Yangtze VST, and this was just messing with just the first preset haha.
My S4 arrives tomorrow, and I will probably be pretty quiet until I digest the workflow and get it integrated.
I am actually going to be changing my video styles here soon.
Every Monday, I am hoping to publish a video where I pick instruments to work with for the week as a set up.
Wednesday will be the sound designing video where I explore the instruments and find a good tone palette with explanations or showing workflow.
Fridays should just be straight soundscapes using the instruments and sounds with no talking lol
Wow, mysterious and fantastic sound! You are so creative! Magical sound and play!
Hey EZ!
Thanks so much for watching!
I'm glad you enjoyed the noodling session :)
