What If Every YouTuber Was Like Mr Beast?

Mr Beast is one of the most popular CZcamsr’s on the platform and there’s a reason for that. He originally started off by making Call of Duty commentary videos that no one was really all that interested in, until he found strange but effective ways to get noticed by the algorithm. Eventually, his success skyrocketed to crazy heights, and now he sits at over 100 million subscribers.
But how has he been able to sustain his success for so long? Well, it’s largely in part to his editing.
Mr Beast’s editing is perfectly optimized for the algorithm, and that’s by design. Watch time is king on CZcams and Mr Beast employs every tactic available to keep you glued to the screen. Jump cuts, sound effects, zoom ins, explosions, animations, and a consistent fast pace. Not one frame of the video is overlooked because if people click away, the video doesn’t get recommended so every second counts.
The editing on a Mr Beast video is impressive when you start to pay attention to it and clearly it pays off. But, is this a little too optimized? And what ripple effect on the platform does this create? If you want to get just as successful on CZcams as Mr Beast, do you have to edit like this?

I use Davinci Resolve, which has a free version. Everything you saw in this video and more is possible with the free version, which I use. I recommend Casey Faris and his tutorials if you ever need to learn something specific.
