I'm jumping days and decided to watch this and I'm glad I did in time. Happy Thanksgiving, Claudia! Here's hoping you'll have a great walk today you'll fondly remember as your first Thanksgiving away from home, even though you're missing everyone back home. Thanks for the tips and updates!! Buen camino! :)

We stayed in Rabinel del Camino....which was very good. The restaurant (Le Pesin) was wonderful. To train for the hills we had a couple of options. We have a particular street that from beginning to end is about 2.5km, and it is pretty much straight up. For 3 months we walked that street 2 or 3 times a week as our schedule allowed - sometimes with a full backpack, sometimes not. We had no issues with the climbs - from St Jean to Santiago. I'd say the walk up and into O'Cebrero was more difficult than Roncesvalles. Happy Thanksgiving!

good climbing...and tomorrow you get to Cruz de Ferro! as they say in the film..."a place of much significance?" great stamps at bar el trasgu in Foncebadon! altra olympus are the best with the heavier sole...be careful on the down hill after the Cruz...stop at the bar La Rosa de Agua in El Acebo for a great salad...happy thanksgiving!

Thank you 😊. We did stop at the bar, but I only saw your comment after. I certainly took my time down the hill!
