Making music while on various drugs is what catapulted my drug habit into a very bad drug addiction. And before you know it you need drugs to make music, and then you need drugs to get out of bed and function without being sick.
I'm a multiple musician... I also have struggled with addictions of all kinds..still do... We,or I feel the weight of the world on our shoulders,but can really fix it...it helps us cope., until we die
I have often thought you have to be sensitive or be able to show some vulnerability to be a good musician. That's part of the reason why it's a hard life for many musos, they're emotionally exposed. This interview makes a lot of sense.
