On higher difficulties, enemies have their own version of version of devil trigger. Gives them armor, and they do more damage. They're just harder to kill so you really gotta style on them.
LOL Don't be afraid to BREAK your Devil BREAKers. It'll force you to get creative and have more fun doing combos with Nero. Plus, they wouldn't have extra arms scattered throughout the stage, or make Nico visit you with a fresh loadout before every boss if it wasn't expected.
@@WinterDominus I was like that too at first until I realized the fear of breaking them was keeping me from getting better at the game. I was playing too safe and as a result not doing enough damage or taking too long to kill enemies, which is a problem on higher difficulty modes.
I assume you don't like the devil breaker system? I agree that Nero needs more moves, but that is what the devil breakers are for. He only has two weapons, and he can't switch fighting styles like Dante, so where would you even fit the commands for a whole new set of attacks on the controller? Blue Rose (Shoot), Red Queen (Slash), Devil Bringer (Arm), and Jump button are already taken. So, the only solution is to give him Arms to swap out.
@@MikeyMighty5I would much like it more if the breaker systems didn't have to break in order to switch. still keep the detonation and breakaway and supercharge mechanic, just wish I could switch between breakers on the fly, would've made for some cooler combos
@@platypusih8u830 The mod that allows Nero to breaker switch is so good. He becomes a bit OP...but Dante has Dr. Faust and then there's Vergil. So...really there's no excuse for that to not be an endgame unlock like Dante being able to equip all weapons.
i wish there was a way to just fill my slots with random breakers so I can get creative while breaking them having to orderly slot them in each time makes it feel sorta like a chore
I agree with someone in the comments: But instead, Nero needs an overhaul like how Dante went through THREE GAMES before he actually got a concrete moveset! It's about time that Nero joints the group and gets his own "Style"
Nero will never get his own “style” system while Dante is playable, makes him too similar to him and wipes away any uniqueness his breakers and exceed systems offer. It’s all about building up your power for Nero, with the red queen, with blue rose and with his breakers. I think his system is very well rounded and fun how it is
