- In this video - I added a set of LED lights to the footwell - by adding a pin/wire to the BCM - and then tying the lights/wiring to a ground on the passenger side.

Got my wire in today for the harness the plug was a pain to get out but I finally have the footwell lights. Thanks for the great video. I have seen a lot of people in threads trying to figure it out. I’ll pass this video on for the next person.

Thanks for another useful video! Do the lights shut off when you close the door, or do they stay on until you start the truck like the dome light?
While they are on a separate plug from the dome lights coming out of the BCM - they are controlled exactly the same. So when the dome lights turn off - these turn off. When the dome light turns on - these turn on. Also if you press the button for interior lights on the roof console - they will come on as well.

Great video! But couldn't you have just left the bcm connector in the module and inserted the pin? If not, how do you remove the connector from the BCM, just pull on it? Thank you in advance for your reply!
There is so little room under there - you really need to pull the plug to identify the correct pin.
I have been trying to figure this out on my refresh for months now. What pin end did you use for white wire. I know they have different sizes.
Also the white clip on bcm does it pry off or slide up to allow you to fit the white wire in?
5:20 in. Black connector - pin #1.
@@bonecrrusherSS do you have a link for the wire with the pin connector to make sure I get correct size pin size for the hole.
@@bonecrrusherSS can you get just the white wire with the pen connector. Or is this a special order from dealer. Was trying to start this tomorrow but just need that white wire with pin.
