"Baingan bhaja" is a Bengali cuisine and term for fried sliced eggplant. Baingan = egg plant, bhaja = fried. It is pronounced as "Bay-gun bha-ja". Hope this helps. Cheers!
Thank you for your blessing. God Bless You too! The CZcams videos pays a proportion of my living (if it paid me more I would just do the videos) and I'm also a market researcher for a couple of companies.
. Thank you and that's great sir. I have been following your vlogs for a couple of years now.... get to see the world of cuisines through you in a very vivid and satisfying way... I guess you got hooked up into this after coming to Dandi... in India Gujarat...
You're welcome. Thank you for being a fan, where do you live? I started with uploading a mix of videos initially, now 5 years later I know that it's the food videos that are popular on my channel - so I concentrate on mostly food now (especially places which are affordable for everyone) but also I look out for "desi" places. Dandi is nothing special visually, but is spiritually and emotionally significant due to Gandhi Ji's salt march protest so it was my duty to visit. I was staying in Navsari at the time and taking a lot of videos of everything because I knew I was not going to come back to India for a good few years. I am pleased that you are sharing my journey. God Bless!
. Thank you and glad to hear back Sir, I am currently in Southern Part of India, with roots in Gujarat. If you happen to visit Gujarat any sooner, please include Porbandar and Karamsad in your itinerary. As I believe you would like to visit Bapuji's and Sardar Patel's birthplace as well. For all your videos, they are all awesome. Have spent hours watching them like a movie... Navsari and surrounding areas are rich culturally and geographically... also a paradise for foodies... For your anonymity towards your vlog viewers during video shoots, I guess you like to keep it that way.. Also, glad to share this voyage... Btw... I have made some observations on your vlogs... Would like to share them ... .GBY sir..
Jai Shree Krishna, Thank you for your suggestions - hopefully I will be going towards the end of this year (for a relatives wedding). Will be mostly in Surat, Navsari & Bardoli side. Because I will be with my young family; a trip to Porbandar may be too difficult this time around. You guessed right about anonymity - I don't seek fame but want the videos to be famous (there have been a few occasions when people have recognised me just by my voice). I would welcome your observations on the Vlogs. Thank you for watching my videos and sharing the journey - it's very much appreciated. God Bless
This foodie who doesn't show himself up to viewers goes after cheese and paneer combination dishes wherever he hunting Indian street food fair. What's the go?
