The thing that will piss me off is, if McGregor wins, people will say "But Floyd hasn't fought for 2 years and he's 40 years old and he wasn't taking it serious".. I just don't think McGregor will get the credit he deserves because of how respected Mayweather is.

Yet to be fair, all of those criticisms are true. McGregor has a chance *specifically because Mayweather is old*. You're trying to pre-empt the realistic responses people might give, because they're realistic and you're not. If you don't think 28 vs 40 is relevant enough to be talked about in the event that McGregor wins, then you're a bit too invested in McGregor to have a valid opinion on any outcome in this fight.

I'm a huge UFC & mma fan and a massive mcgregor fan and hope he wins and if he does he's gonna have to catch him early rock him and stop him. Which not many people have even come close to doing, Obviously mcgregor has more power but will that translate into boxing with the massive gloves they use, not sure, It's simple really, mayweather will probably dance around for 6/7 rounds pick his punches be elusive wait for mcgregor to fade and either win with a late stoppage or buy a huge points margin. This fight don't really prove much it just proves mayweather is a better boxer which we all know already, if he's a proper fighter/man he should fight mcgregor in the boxing ring then step over to mma and fight him but obviously he's never gonna do that as he knows he'll get seriously hurt fighting in mma as you can't dance around/run & hide in mma like you can in boxing. Anyway I seriously hope mcgregor shocks the world and KO's him for the greatest boxing up set of all time. Team. Mcgregor all the way.
