  • If you’re searching for a great plasma cutter on a budget, this video is for you!
    I hafta be honest here...
When I received the package I was concerned it would be too light of a cutter for the job I'd use it for.
I am really impressed with this cutter for the money!
True, it isn't a big name brand plasma cutter but it truely does hold it's own.
For the very affordable price of $249 on Amazon, you can't go wrong.
Here's the link to the cutter if you'd like to check it out.

I bought one of these. My very first cut was a hexagonal piece of steel that was 3/4 across the flats and 7/8 across the points. It cut through it cleanly with no problem. This little cutter has been very useful in my hobby shop.

I can attest to the results of this. Decent little cutter, IMO. (I was behind the camera). I've used the Hypertherm 45 and 85, and my Yeswelder Cut 65DS. There is no comparison, for sure, to the Hypertherms. But the cheaper overseas units can do the job for the average handyman/shop DIY guy. I've cut 3/8 big pipe with my Yeswelder, but it was a little slow. I've got a video of that, if anyone wants it. I've learned to just keep it maxed out for the most part, and I keep the air at 80-90PSI and that seems to help. For 1/8 or 14g, I would turn it down, but honestly I don't cut that thinner stuff with a plasma, I just use the grinder and cutoff wheels. Plasma works great on tanks, though. I had a little problem with my last one (which was almost 3/8"), until I realized my ground sucked. That helped a ton. Gotta pay attention!

Great video brother. Be nice around the farm for the price. I am interested in how long it last, because it wont be worth the price of repairing it when it breaks.

Why didnt you start off maxed out and not waste that much steel

Good question - but it is good for us to see the differences.

We are reviewing the cutter, so we want to see how it operates under different conditions
