yes the fairing will fit on 1987 FXR with 06 Wide Glide front, the fairing may need a little trimming where the fork legs come up. Use part number RWD-50169 to mount it.It will also work with 1992 FXR.
Looking at your fairing to be usedwith a souzacycle mount for a 2019 FLH Standard (gets the fairing in the right spot for the touring bikes). Lotta baggers showing up with your fairing. What is required for fitment on this application? And how long before front cartridges are available to match up with your rear shocks. TIA

It's frame mounted, doesn't get any better for steering and stability as far as adding a fairing.

What are you using to trim the fiber glass? For headlight and forks?
