I was once in a guild for a game on Facebook. At first, I enjoyed playing without being in a guild because it was stress-free. Once I joined the guild, it was ok for a while until the GM started harassing me about my play style and nagging me to play multiple times throughout the day for hours. The moment I set my boundaries and made it known, they slightly backed off. I haven't played the game seriously in years and have no plans to go back.

Thank you for sharing your experiences Mandy. You should never be harassed for your play style. Communication is extremely important and if you they’re not willing to align with your way with the guild then it’s just best to leave. I’m glad you’re able to move forward! 😊

I actually have to shamefully admit, that I’ve been on the other side of this.
Maybe bullying is not the right word for it, as I’ve never targeted anyone for reasons other than I was getting a rise out of them. But I’ve definitely engaged in some merciless trolling when I was younger.
I would figure out ways of trade scamming in Diablo 2, crash people’s role playing keeps in UO, and all sorts of insanity in Eve Online and Metal Gear Online.
I mostly did this kind of stuff because I was bored, unhappy at home, and simply had knowledge that other people didn’t have- and it was interesting to see how people reacted.
I’ve since changed how I interact with people in game, and I kind of avoid multiplayer settings altogether now.
Sure there were times where I was up to some actually funny and interesting stuff, but there were times where I had really upset people, and I’ve since come to regret it.
If I had any advice for people being trolled nowadays, just remove yourself from the situation if you can. It’s literally the best way to get people off your case, by not allowing it to happen.
    Awesome video as always.

100%! I think we've all been a victim and have been a cyberbully at some point and on the same boat I was simply bored and tired of losing when I just simply should talk and communicate with others.. In the end, like you said its separating yourself from the situation because you dont want to get it any worse than it already is. Thank you so much again for the watch and support!
