Dean Mary Klotman's Message for Friday, March 1, 2024

Duke University School of Medicine Dean Mary Klotman, MD, marks the beginning of Women's History Month and encourages viewers to check out resources about some of the extraordinary women who have helped to shape Duke.
In research news, she highlights an important Duke study about tumor biology, and tells of the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative that unites Duke, UNC, and NC State to develop tools to map and manipulate kinases - enzymes that play a key role in many diseases.
Duke School of Medicine remains one of the nation's top institutions in NIH research funding, with nine clinical science department and two basic science departments ranked in the top 10.
