- Twas a beautiful day in Hardin County Tennessee, so Ken visited Pickwick Landing State Park and flew over The Pickwick Dam and reservoir. The DJI Phantom 4 drone performed flawlessly and offered some amazing views of the area!

I've owned homes at Pickwick/Counce and Savannah since 1999. I have always loved this area since my Dad would bring me fishing here as a young feller. Great video, Ken (as usual). I fly a Phantom 3 Professional plus a folding Bugs B4W and both are remarkable. Keep up the good work!

How far can you fly with your Phantom 4? I have the 3Standard model and could fly only 200m far from homepoint for while before lost the signal

The Phantom 4 will go about 3 miles from home-point. The Standard doesn't have light-bridge, that's why it's less expensive. HOWEVER... You could use a set of boosters and prob'ly double your range. Check this video out: czcams.com/video/rcKPJho1rHc/video.html ----Those will work with the Standard.
Ken, you make a lot of great videos in places I never knew existed. When you film these places do you get permission or can you just go there and film it. I just got a used phantom 4 pro. Took some work to fix the camera but it’s working good now and I would love to do what your doing.

Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed the video! Yes unfortunately it is illegal to fly near these type of facilities. However, back when I made this flight the rules were different.
Figure. I think there is some changes in the future with the use of SkyMap etc. Hopefully it gets better for us on the businesss side. :)
