Welcome Alwin, Welcome Alwin…. I remember when he introduced me to Alonzo at his Pine Knob/Pontiac, MI concert - and 1989 or so. The crowd sang back so strong. It was not long before or after that studying and covering Al's jazz - Blue Rondo - kicked off my collegiate vocal jazz groups in West Michigan. Can't wait for my first trip to Milwaukee for his music and other history.
