I've always admired Oregon from afar, after the home and home series with Tennessee way back in 2010/2013. The Oregon fans welcomed us Tennesseans with open arms, and were nothing but class when they came to Rocky Top. Hope ya'll make it to the playoff. Good luck!
Love hearing about how good Oregon fans are, like how they embraced Bo in the tunnel after that first game against Georgia his first year there, when UO got beat bad and he had a rough game, and how caught off guard he was/ how supported that made him feel. Makes me really proud to be a born and raised Oregonian and Oregon fan since I was a little kid.

Man I can’t imagine what it was like playing at Auburn. He literally had a different coordinator every year, terrible O Line, took all the blame by the fans. Sounds miserable. So glad he came to Oregon and linked up with Dan Lanning. Sounds like Bo and his family are extremely grateful too.

Dude college athletics is toxic in The SEC, PAC 12, Big 10, and everywhere when you lose. Plenty of people loved and supported him at Auburn but unfortunately he seemed truly affected by the lunatic fringe. If you believe that the SEC is somehow the evil place of dark horrors then cool👍 I'm telling you the same thing happens at Michigan, Ohio St and Oregon when the losses pile up. People are idiots, and that's not JUST and Auburn problem.

Great story! I’m originally from LA and now live in Eugene. I’ll tell you what Bo felt coming into the community is very similar to what I felt. I love living here and I’m glad someone like Bo is having a positive experience.

i could not believe a freshman QB got us lol...he earned my respect for sure...i know it was rough for him at auburn but i was PUMPED when he came to oregon....i knew our O line was going to be one of the best and bo would be great playing behind those guys...i had a feeling troy was due also...
We got really lucky with Bo. I was at that game in Dallas, soul crushing, felt like we had the game all the way until the moment we didn't. Classic Mario game. Oregon fans love Bo and what he gives to the program.

I was very hesitant in him coming to OR at first. Following AU a little bit and his injuries and play led me to believe was just running away knowing that he had what I thought a good coach in Bryan Harsin. I wanted Ty Thompson to win the job. I was completely wrong ironically after the UGA. Felt horrible for him but through thick and thin he was our guy and needed to be there for him. Like his Dad, I knew he’d be alright. Lanning wasn’t going to let Bo fail. Dilly wasn’t going to let it happen. Too talented.
I’m so happy for Bo Nix and his family. Joining the OR Ducks was absolutely the right move for all of them. Watching him grow and lead the Ducks has been a pleasure and I know it will come with many more highlights in 2023/24. Go Ducks!

I think I speak for all Oregonians who are Duck fans, it is going to be a sad day when Bo finishes up his career in Eugene and moves on to the NFL and his new team. Sure wish Phil Knight could get the State of Oregon a NFL Team and somehow figure out a way so Bo (and Izzy) wouldn't have to leave Oregon. Thank you Bo for 2 great years of being a Ducks fan.

Good morning, Mr. Roth. This is an excellent article and presentation about Bo Nix! I believe an even better story could be that of Ty Thompson. A young man who signed with Oregon with all the talents and accolades and aspirations which Bo had. I would assume that Ty, who, as you know was a 5 start recruit, I believe is Oregon's highest ranking recruit and has multiple quarterback camp "best in camp" titles, felt he was in position to take over the quarterback position. But no, from the transfer portal, in comes Bo and is immediately given the job. I would assume, just like you presented about Bo, Ty as a young child aspired to be a quarterback. But after Bo was given the job at Oregon, it would have been totally understandable for Ty to transfer to numerous other schools where undoubtfully he would have been the starting quarterback. But to his credit, Ty has stayed the course and remains at Oregon. What a story in today's world. Thank you!
