I didn't know there was another series after finishing, "Yanxi Palace: Princess Adventure" on Netflix. If I knew beforehand I would have watched them in order but I guess I'll have to watch it from the very very beginning. Starting from YingLuo's story.

I'm so obsessed with the show, it's actually insane! Fight me - but it's just as good as Game if Thrones, at least in my opinion. Nothing's rushed, the characters and their development are great, the overall plot and don't even get me started with costumes and set!

I love Fuheng😭. Why he can’t get a happy ending? He is a righteous man for his nation, his king, his family and friend. But He can’t even get a love for his life... sad 😢
He died virgin. He waited for Ying luo all his life but the emperor separated them. It’s so sad to just think about it. I hope that in their next life they can meet again 😭
Actually there is a detail in the TV series. Hai Lan Cha told Ying Luo that Fu Heng went to find a kind of herbal medicine that can keep women’ beauty and youth. He wants to find it for Ying Luo to make sure the emperor keep loving her. That can keep her safe and happy a whole life. However, in the real history, Fu Heng is died for finding a herb grown in a dangerous environment. Thus, the screenwriter is implying that Fu Heng is finally died for Ying Luo. When I knew this, I almost cried out
His love story is tragic but he honestly loves Yingluo and only wants her to be happy. And who knows maybe one day they will be together.

I do really like fuheng and yingluo but I could not resist the chemistry between yingluo and the emperor. Nie Yuan nailed/succeed as an emperor qian long. Whoever chose him as emperor should be recognized. He/She did a great job. Story of Yanxi Palace has triggered me to search all about qianlong emperor. Now I have a good reason to explore Forbidden City.

Whenever i hear the sound of falling songs, I still feel very sad for Fuheng even after rewatching story of yanxi palace for so many times😭😭😭😭 i need a sequel of fuheng and yingluo in modern era as a couple😭😭😭

I love this drama.watched it without skipping a minute which is a rare thing for me..it was that good. Although my heart broke for Fuheng, I really enjoyed the relationship between the emperor and yingluo. They had awesome chemistry. All the songs are awesome especially the second one.
Never thought that an Indian also likes to watch Chinese drama!!

It's a pure love story of Feheng and Yingluo...in spite of lots of dramas in it. Everything was so beautiful and well thought out ...costume, furniture and the whole composition of the scenes. Applause not only the main characters but wonderful by-players. Music is so obsessing and feel like crying when listening to "Willows of the Palace" and I got chills. Feheng's last words to Yingluo made me cry and heart broken.

I just seem cant move on from yanxi palace, it's the best drama ever. I watched Game of Thrones and this yanxi palace writing is just as good as Game of Thrones. It's been months since I binge watch all the 70 episodes and I still cant seem get the drama out of my heart. Its torturing me because I cant watch another drama without thinking "ah this is not as good as yanxi palacee" and cancel it its so tiring unable to move on 😭

I can relate! I've checked most of the popular series as recommended by Google or recommended by others in the comments, but nothing comes close to this! I can't even finish a single episode of Ruyi, Eternal Love, Empresses in the Palace, etc..
I started watching another series by the same Yanxi director--The longest day in Chang'an, also historical but not harem drama. It was riveting and action-packed, too bad a YT channel stopped adding subtitles after the 4th episode.

My 2 favorites are sighs of the palace walls because it's a sad song and willows of the palace because it's sweet and everytime that noble consort and empress xiaoxianchun dance this is the music.

I first watched Ruyi's royal love in the Palace at the CZcams clips.
Love it.
I put off watching the Story of Yangxi Palace because it has 70 episodes.
I thought it won't be as good as Ruyi's
Then I saw the CZcams clips of the Yanxi Palace & had watched all the clips available then.
Fell in love with it.
Now started watching the full episodes.
No regrets.
Just like Ruyi, I have learned & still learning from the Yanxi's drama.
These dramas...the sayings, the philosophies, the wisdom...it's awesome!
Willows is a GORGEOUS song. Thank you for the upload.
