When you charge a lot, you have to quickly spot the people that can afford your price. You need to smell them from miles. For example, i always ask who gaves my name to increase the impact of wasting my time and improve my signature rate. "People hates to reply to this question (if you are skilled) : have you hired MY photographer?" Having to say that you are too expensive is horrible for many people because that means their own value is too low. On the other hand, their is a celling on what you can charge. For example 500$ / 1500$ / 5000$ / 10k+ in the city i live. If you charge 3000, for a wedding let's say, there is a huge % that you should have charged 5.000 because your peers with same skill would charge 5.000 then negociate a little. Nice content :)
Indeed :) I think a lot of people struggle with finding that balance. I think a lot of people might also be too scared to negotiate, which is probably a factor 🤔 They might be too scared to negotiate, so they just ask for less, instead of asking for more, and negotiating down if appropriate.
