I am fascinated by this comment. It is her native language. I can’t imagine her forgetting how to speak. Was she speaking with an accent that was foreign? Was she making grammar mistakes? I just wonder how someone could lose the ability to speak their first language.
Her german is perfect like with any other native speaker. There were one or two odd uses of language early in the interview as though maybe she was using a term from another language she couldnt think of the proper german equivalent in that moment. As the moderator himself suggested, maybe she was more accustomed appearing in english language prorammes at the time. But once settled back into her own language there is zero difference to the other german speaking people in this show
