My inside tvs the are both 65 "Samsung and a 86" LG. I hung a Visio 50" out on my balcony and it has lasted nearly seven years. End of fall I completely wrap it in plastic. Put a quantity heat blanket over it is on low and put a cover that I bought on line. I bought a staggering amount for my two other big screens but paid $71 for it. When the humidity rise during rain storms I put the cover on it as well. Is fun and a real classy edition to my pad. Thinking about putting one in the kitchen and bath too. Yes, I'm a couch potato.

I live in Houston and have a 55 inch Samsung mounted under my palapa. Three years and going strong. I do take it down for hurricanes but other than that it stays up. I did purchase a nice cover with a Velcro flap to seal it up when we get one of those very windy thunderstorms. Takes about 5 seconds and if it is blowing rain like that I won’t be out there watching anyway. I also put the flap down if we are traveling. Not sure why they had rust on back of theirs. More humidity here than Dallas and I don’t have any on my connections.

Yeah, these tv designed models for watching tv outside are bullshits in pricing for ripping off people for that are in prices costing 3-4 times more than any regular models of tv.Do some works and some modifications to for protections to any regular tv and it will works just fine for watching tv for the outside too.Just do things like this hang a normal tv with a wall mount close it to the wall as possible than building a frame around it for to blocking out of the sun for reflections in the morning sun for watching tv in the day times and have a little cabinet for to protecting your cables boxes or other electronic devices.Or buying any movie white screens and than building a frame around it and than just buy a digital projector with a capability of receiving a digital tv signals for watching tv in the morning day times. All these works properly only will set you back about $700 to $800 dollars maximum.

Crazy how the salespeople want you to buy the overpriced sunbright yet.... those who have a regular tv outside typically have no problems. 2,000$ affordable lol. You can buy 5 regular TVs before covering even 1 sun right
