  • Diana Taurasi loses her sh!t as Caitlin crushes her team again!
Caitlin Clark continues to make history in the WNBA, showcasing her remarkable skills and breaking records with each game. In a recent match against Diana Taurasi's Mercury team, Caitlin and her teammate Aliyah Boston achieved a historic milestone by recording 20-point double doubles in the same game, with Caitlin also setting franchise records for assists. Despite facing challenges and frustrations, including poor officiating and backlash from Taurasi and others, Caitlin's performance speaks for itself. Taurasi, who previously made critical remarks about Caitlin, acknowledged her exceptional talent and work ethic. This ongoing success solidifies Caitlin's position as a rising star in the WNBA, leaving no room for doubt or debate.

Ima UCONN fan.. so Taurasi has always been a player I liked.. but after she said that CC didnt deserve to be on team USA and then went on to comment minutes later that she was blessed to be chosen to team USA her rookie season and the help from the vets was so valuable... It made me think.. here she is bragging and praising about the amazing help that she received as a rookie on the team USA from the vets.. then when she is now a "vet" herself she's so selfish she feels CC isn't good enough to be in the same place she was years ago. @@purahdog It’s true that Caitlin brought a lot of eyes to the WNBA and because of that, we can now see that there are a number of really great players. The only problem is that no one probably bothers actually watching the WNBA. I think we’ve all had time to see these teams play and now know who the great standouts are, like Taurasi, Griner, Plum, Wilson, Bird. On some list, you will even see Clark listed as well and Aliyah Boston.
The problem with a statement like this is that while it gives credit to Clark for bringing all this to our attention, the Clark Faithful assumes that she is the only one worthy of the attention. It’s like no one bothers to acknowledge that other players exist. Truth is that some of them are actually better all-around players than Clark, especially when you look at the stats. But if you dare mention that to the Clark Cult, they lose their minds. Like Taurasi says, her fan base is “sensitive”.

But Cults are incapable of rationalizing like that. It’s funny how no one ever talks about this. Instead, I get feedback about unrelated things. I agree with Caitlin’s coolness when it comes to dealing with adversity. That’s not the issue. The issue is the lack of reasoning and logic when it comes to the Cult.

I think Taurasi's comments weren't wrong, and I mean, she called her superhuman, and went on to say she had a ton of talent, but that there's a learning curve. And while Clark seems to be navigating that curve well and maybe faster than some thought, there was a learning curve. She struggled a lot at the start of the season. It's funny how fast the narrative changes.

  • @housepianist

The thing is that Taurasi is 100% correct in her assessment of Caitlin and her fan base. First of all, just look at all the things she’s had to adjust to since coming into the league. Everyone is coming after her. Whether you think everyone is trying to cheap-shot her or disrespect her, Caitlin IS in a different league. It doesn’t matter if CC has a good game or not. It’s the WNBA, not the NCAA.
Taurasi is also 1000% about her fan base. They are truly “different”. Every channel like this is an absolute Caitlin Clark Cult and Worship Center. Not only do these channels elevate Caitlin to the status of WNBA Deity but they also trash talk and talk down to all the other teams and opponents. In fact, I would argue that the MAIN way Caitlin is praised in this league is by denouncing or demoralizing the opposition and this is what her fan base use to build her up. And you can count on Finessing Sports and dozens of other channels to promote this kind of behavior.
Seriously, just look at the comments here! Go to any other similar channel and look at the comment sections. Look at social media. It’s pure hatred and contempt and this is what her fan base uses to promote Clark. Taurasi is so correct by saying her fans are “sensitive”. They rely on 100% emotion. Zero logic. Zero reasoning. Zero sense. Don’t get me wrong. I’m a CC fan but I also put equal weight into other teams and players because they are exciting to watch! Old lady just jealous of talented newcomer. Especially since people only came to see Caitlin play and don't even know Taurasi except that she is a bitter old woman. Caitlin has class.

To be fair, Taurasi has been around for a long time. The pattern she has seen every time is that a college player that comes into the NBA has a steep learning curve.
That just shows how different Clark is, she had a learning curve, but she climbed that hill fast and is still climbing to incredible levels.
Turasi already owned up to the fact that Clark is different after their first game together and all the questionable comments came before they met on the court. She did not have anything bad to say about Clark after their first meeting and complaining to the refs is just normal in WNBA and NBA.

With further strength and fitness training she can play with the men professionally. I did not say the NBA but I am certain she can play with men on a team where her skills can best be presented. Her fitness level is already much greater than the rest of the WNBA players who are too focused on smoking pot and each others pssies.

@@montarakid1943 It's a reference to a comment she made about winning 3 championships. She said, "I won. . . .", as if she had done it all by herself. Clearly, the OP of this thread has also seen this comment as well. I saw it somewhere here on youtube recently. Obviously, winning championships in a team sport isn't an individual accomplishment, but rather a team accomplishment. This last statement isn't just my opinion - it's a fact.
