Interesting use of Sonic 2's Death Egg Zone music. It also seems to me like the level layout took some inspiration from Sonic & Knuckles' Death Egg Zone.
@@KnuxKraftyAnd it’s a much better name, fitting Eggman’s bad future. Cyber City should be the good future version only, and Sonic 2 didn’t even have good futures, one two types of bad, the lesser being the “ruined present”.

Temporary asset or no, the odd-looking placeholder evokes the idea of a forcefield with spikes under it that can poke just past the edge from inside, which would be a cool visual gimmick in a romhack, fangame or official level.
