This year had to be the worst year for celeb deaths. Starting with bob saget, to many others that I grew up seeing on tv or movies like grease, mighty morphing power rangers, Harry Potter, look who’s talking, etc. RIP to these icons and legends.

Jason David Frank death hit me the hardest. I couldn’t believe he was gone. The worst part about it is that I woke up to that. Sometimes now I wish I had told people that I am still a Power Rangers fan at 22 because I don’t think people know how devastated I was. I was even crying during his tribute in this video because it still hurts so much. He will truly be missed. 😭
I feel the same, I actually met him a few years ago. Billy Kametz devastated me for the rest of the year too. Worst is there aren't any bad people who died in 2022.

I dropped to my knees and started crying cause we not only lost a great voice actor but a AMAZING HUMAN BEING! Pat Carroll, The voice of Ursula from Disney's The Little Mermaid, Estelle Harris, Mrs. Potato Head, Angela Lansbury, the voice of Mrs. Potts, Aaron Carter, and Olivia Newton John. When Robbie Coltrane died,I immediately remembered the clip of him saying that clip you used at the beginning from the HP reunion,and could not stop crying. I cried when he said it too,because he was tearing up. I remember thinking "this clip is gonna resurface when he actually passes" I never thought it would be less then a year later. 😔 It's truly heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time,because hes right,Hagrid will always be here because of him. 💙

I think Barbara Walters passed after they did the initial work for this video. Also, technically (and I do not like saying this), she was considered a member of the news media, which is distinct from the movie/TV business. Like a lot of people, I enjoyed her annual celebrity interview specials and when she started The View, but I think her career as a serious news anchor overshadowed what came after she left ABC News.

Even though Maruki’s ideals of making a perfect reality was distorted, it reminds us that suffering is a part of life. Whether that be the loss of a love one, the desire for a loved one to be good, the desire to be able to support a loved one, or even the desire to be human. Suffering is inevitable and can’t be avoided, but can be avoided.
I live by this ideal everyday.

I've only seen Anne Hache in Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones, but after hearing about her passing, it feels different watching it knowing she's gone. I'll always remember Kevin Conroy as Batman, Jason David Frank as the white ranger from Power Rangers, Robbie Coltrane as Hagrid, and I will always remember Clarence Gilyard as Trivette on Walker Texas Ranger and Theo from Die Hard. May these people rest in peace. They may be gone forever, but we will never forget the times they made us laugh, cry, and cheer for their characters.

It marks the end of my childhood. I watched all these people enchant me with their talents only to see them disappear as I grow into adulthood. Nostalgia with them is strong but I thank them from the bottom of my heart for making my childhood wonderful.

Agreed. As many as there were this year, (even ones completely forgotten from the list), a longer video might have been necessary. For instance, Emilio Delgado (also from Sesame Street) was forgotten completely and didn't even get a mention. But being that it is "Watch Mojo" and they were more interested in "most notable," probably to even get a mention at all is at least something. People like Emilio, Nicki Aycox (Meg Masters in Supernatural), Pat Carroll (actress with an extremely long career and was the voice of Ursula in "The Little Mermaid"), Liz Sheridan (another actress from Seinfeld who coincidentally was Jerry's mother), etc.
I almost met Jason Frank this year, I got a free ticket to RangerStop but unfortunately I couldn't make it so I gave my ticket to my best friend. He and his gf got to meet Jason and said he was just absolutely great guy. Though I'm sad I never got to meet my childhood hero, I'm glad I was able to help my friends meet this great man.
He was at a comic book store in my area. I didn't buy a ticket I didn't know I needed one so needless to say I was bummed. Then a limo came to my side of my car and there he was.

More than a month later the passing of JDF definitely hits the core hard. He was more than just a legend in the PR community. He was a individual whose legacy & contribution to the franchise for 30 years inspired a generation of fans. That is something truly “Legendary.” RIP JDF 💚🙏

Kevin Conroy was my definitive Batman of my childhood as he were the heart and soul of the DC Animated Universe.
James Caan who I knew from playing in The Godfather, that he brought his badass role as Sonny Corleone.
Angela Lansbury who been the voice of such beloved characters since childhood from Anastasia then Beauty And The Beast.

Kevin Conroy's death hit me super hard because I always read Batman comics in his voice after discovering him. But Jason David Frank's death was one of the most tragic ones to me considering how he passed. Anxiety and depression are very serious issues that affect more people than we think, even those who are wildly successful. Already dreading who will be on this list in a year from now
I was bought to tears when I found out what happened to Kevin Conroy... a week later I find out about Jason David Frank, I almost left work because I was mentally sick just from hearing it.
I didn't think my heart would break in a span of two weeks. R.I.P to everybody who did not make it to see 2023. :( May you all live happily and in peace in heaven.

Ray Liotta and Robbie Coltrane are two actors I held in high regard. Coltrane's turn as criminal psychologist Fitz in ITV's *"Cracker"* is still that channel's high point in hard edged dramas nearly 30 years on. Liotta's passing hit me hard. I remember that 1986 film *"Something Wild,"* directed by the late Jonathan Demme and although I already knew Melanie Griffith and Jeff Daniels, Ray stole that film. And then came *"Goodfellas".......*

I’m almost 33 and I’m a 1st generation Power Rangers fan. Thank you for mentioning my childhood hero Jason David Frank. Needless to say I was beyond heartbroken by his death. I hope now that he’s at peace.
