Let's be honest: we all knew Amy would be #1.
You got that right, buddy.
I knew from the start that Amy would be #1!! I was shouting endlessly "Thank You" when I saw that she was #1 for this list!!! Besides, the thumbnail of Amy was the reason why I watched this video!! Fantastic Job WatchMojo!! You knew what you were doing when you made this list!! 😆😆😆😎😎😎😎😎😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃
And that she'll probably see this and comment on every comment about her
I knew it the second I saw the thumbnail.
Amy be like watchmojo are such online bullies.
Yup. Knew Amy was #1 before I even clicked the video. Everytime I see her stupid face, I want to punch it really hard. God, she was a BITCH.
How long before Amy starts fighting people in the comments
Mad Mal I'll give it a week.

"A guy had some lobster and he had a reaction to it."
He wasn't allergic to it, sir. You poisoned him.
If he said that, he would be arrested
Mr. Snek
Is not about being technical here, it is the responsibility that John has to give the clearest information possible to the authorities and health professionals so they can treat the patient. But I understand he needs to protect his own assets as well, which is why he lied.
In this case, he served rotten lobster and a customer got sick, he informed the paramedics that he’s got an allergic reaction. That will hinder the customer’s treatment in hospital and food poisoning is not something to joke about.
If the customer dies from the food that comes from that restaurant, John is liable for everything and could even be charged for manslaughter.
Bob the Asymmetrical Trashcan
He'd be charged either way. I think what they meant was that by saying "reaction" and not "allergic reaction" he could at the same time not let his customers know what really happened and also technically be telling the truth since it was a reaction to food poisoning. I don't know if he elaborated to the paramedics off-camera though. If he didn't then there's probably some charge about obstructing medical work or something.
who would order something they are allergic to?
that guy was just looking for an excuse
@@bingboop5414 Sometimes allergies develop in adulthood and it may kick off with a hospital trip.
Waitress: so Amy which table again?

That whole episode pissed me off.
I wish Gordon hired the waitresses and the other chef from that episode. They definitely deserve more smart bosses.
shioriryukaze yeah like if I was in her steps I would go right to HR and have them investigated. Like by law an employer can’t take any amount of of an employees tip. I’m glad she was fired for the fact now that she doesn’t have to work with 2 cunty restaurant owners

Best part, Amy's is out of business and Sammy has been deported and in prison.
I don't think they made good on the deportation threat actually. It's a little complicated due to his marriage.
Which is possibly why Samy married her in the first place. He did have organized crime ties and an arrest warrant in his home country.
I was surprised to see positive reviews of her restaurant online. Obviously the show exposed them for what they are. Thank goodness they are closed.
@@brandonallen3289 Last I looked into Amy is still somewhat in the business, but mostly focuses on cakes out in California since she and Sammy no longer live in Arizona. She posts on imgur daily. :/
@@The_Chef2511 Nope. They deported him. What complicated it was his extensive criminal record in Israel and eastern Europe. Once they started the proceedings, the Government found out from INTERPOL that he was permanently banned from entering Israel, France, Russia, Poland, and Germany. He eventually tried to enter Israel illegally, supposedly to "turn himself in", but was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants and is now in prison.
Why was Sammy deported? Sure he was an Idiot to his customers, but what did he do that was illegal
#10 Akira was being mentally and emotionally abused by his wife, into near silence and depression. Watching that episode is very hard, especially if you're someone that's been mentally and emotionally abused the way he was being by his wife.
There was a bigger reason why he was struggling as badly as he was... it wasn't just 'because he was a bad chef.'
carrastealth Agreed. He was abused.
I think WatchMojo shouldn’t have put him on this list.
I was mentally and emotionally abused, and even taken advantage of for about 4 months straight, even into attempted suicide.. so I've never seen the episode and I'm gonna watch it rn, thank you for this comment, I'll leave an edit of what I thought after I finish.
carrastealth please tell me Akira got better after the episode

That got dark real fast.
Yea I felt bad for him the moment I started seeing red flags. He just needed someone who showed him love and support.

didn't her husband get deported too? i saw a video a while ago of him threatening a customer with a knife. a quick google search says they both live in Israel now. not sure how true that is though.
I was surprised to see some positive reviews of her restaurant online. But that's not enough as the show brought out her and her husband's true colors. It's no surprise they closed.

I felt so sorry for my fellow Katie - Amy was so horrible and cruel to the poor girl. :(
@@katietaylor8314
The only people in that episode that I _didn't_ feel sorry for were Amy and Sammy ...
Personally, if I was unlike to work for them, I would round up as many of my fellow workers as possible, and launch a class-action lawsuit, especially when Sammy was taking all the tips ...
Sadly, though, I know, via my fiancé, that because Arizona is a 'Right to Work State --- perhaps the worse misnomer I have heard of in my 46 years of life --- that means labour laws are pretty thin when it comes to employee protection, unless you belong to a well-organised union ...
... so that may not be possible. But I do hope they all went on to have much better jobs, than working for those two insane individuals ...
(Fun fact: there are serious allegations that the only reason why Sammy created Amy's Baking Company was to launder --- how can I put this --- _suspicious_ money through it. Hence why Sammy gave hourly, at only a few cents extra than minimum wage in Arizona in order to mess up the bookkeeping ...
and iconic.
Another bad thing about Chappy: he didn't know what a pescatarian was
To be honest, I didn't know what it meant until I watched that episode and I went to go look it up. That being said, you're right that chefs should know what it means
@@collinsquires410
It went way worse than him not knowing what one was ...
... he actually cooked --- badly --- a fillet of some fish (hard to tell what is was, given what it looked like after he was done with it ...), in exactly the same pan as he was cooking off a steak ...
... hell, I am a amateur cook at the best of times, but even I know not to cook steak and fish in the same pan, as you just wind up ruining both, not least because fish cooks at a lower temperature than steak ...
Amy and Sammy really were the worst. The way they treated other people was absolutely disgusting. Yelling at customers who didn't like their food, stealing tips from the waitresses who definitely deserved them and firing a poor girl just for asking "Are you sure?." They actually made me sick to my stomach. They didn't deserve Gordon's help and I think he was too nice to them.

Legend has it that if you angrily shout "narcisistic personality disorder" three times while cooking, Amy will be summoned in your kitchen.
Ngl, I literally had a nightmare after reading this comment.
In the dream I was cooking in the kitchen, and when I rmbrd this comment I decided to give it a try. It worked, Amy spawned at the end of the kitchen and charged at me shouting incoherent words non-stoo and threaten me with a knife and when I went arnd the house to look for my phone the place started distorting into a burnt down building and specters of burnt corpses also started spawning and they started screaming in pain on a loop. They were surrounding me to the point where I also screamed and that's when I woke up screaming.
Lol if you say Jesus Christ too much, he comes too :)

The fact that Ricky didn't even know the taste between pork, chicken, or pork speaks volumes. Like wtf?
It is possible for people to be born with a dull or nonexistent sense of taste, or to lose it due to nerve damage. It's a by sheer luck that he managed to last even a week at that place.
@@russellbrown6888 then you shouldn't be a chef. If you can't taste flavor how can you taste what will be good or not?

Oh, look, lets call a professional chef because our food obviously suck
*Gordon spit the truth to the chefs
How dare you insult my cooking skills!
Just like bad marriges and relationships on jerry springer.. Why? Do they get paid for it?
A lot of the time, it’s not the chefs calling Gordon in. It’s the owners because they think that the chefs would respond better if they received criticism from a professional who knows what he’s talking about than from the owners who - half of the time - don’t cook, but most of those chefs have their heads so far up their asses that they don’t want to listen to Gordon.
Pretty much
Amy and Sammy were insane. Telling customers off for disliking their food when it wasn’t cooked properly and firing staff for asking simple questions is the tip of the iceberg.
Amy refused to take criticism and always had to be right. Sammy also took tips that the waitresses made which in my mind is illegal
By law it's illegal
How could Akira be number 10?
There are plenty much worse than him. He actually really could cook.
Yeah, he was not bad, but at the time of gordon's appearance, he really slipped up. He had an all-time low at the worst possible timing, and Gordon managed to help out some, even thought he was really ruthless about it.
Number 10 is the least bad in this case.
I think they should have switched Shelly and put her at number 10 and put Akira and this honorable mention. Or actually they should have put Casimero on there instead of Akira
I was surprised Sebastian didn't make the list. The guy was so full of himself.
Didn't he close the restaurant and end up opening a construction or working with construction or something?
Casemeiro should have been on this list somewhere. The guy couldn’t cook pasta ffs, and refused to work after Gordon told him what a shit job he was doing.
Oh, God ... I remember him ...
He didn't know how to make, let alone cook, fresh meatballs, so Gordon showed him how. Within literally minutes of Gordan turning his back to concentrate on something else, by the time he got back to the 'chef', he managed to completely burn them to almost black, due to him forgetting the fact he was using an all metal sauté pan, not a non-stick one ...
Hell, I rarely ever cook, but the one time I did make meatballs from scratch, I quickly learnt you have to constantly turn them over, else they stick, and get burnt up ... fast ...
Also Joe Nagy BC holy shit
I just said the same thing! He was useless.
I also nominate Trevor of Mangia Mangia (season 7) and Rocky of Prohibition Gastropub (season 6) as two of the worst chefs of this series. In both cases they were fired during Ramsay's stay.
The problem is his boss, Tatianna is too soft for him and she's always cover his mistakes and she finally wakes up and fired him in the end. He didn't even hug her back.
John was able to turn it around, though, and his restaurant is one of the few from the show that is still open.
TMX1138 yup i live in Brooklyn and I’ve visited mama Maria’s it’s actually really good now
That’s always so good to hear . When the restaurants actually thrive after Gordon helps them out
TMX1138 I really love when a restaurant is able to thrive after Gordon helps them, it makes me feel victorious even if I didn’t do anything
I really felt sorry for John. It was almost like with the death of his father and his mom that he was stuck in this Perpetual cycle of trying to be an adult but still being kid thinking that your parents are here to run the restaurant but they're not. That's why I'm glad Gordon Ramsay went to him to help him to deal with life after losing his parents.
Besides Pantaleone's.
I remember watching the episode with Amy and I was genuinely shocked. It wasn't just Amy, it was her husband working there too. Two guys came to have dinner there, waited like an hour for their entree, and when they decided to leave because they had waited for too long, Amy's husband instantly freaked out for no reason.
And that episode is so bad, Gordon Ramsay even walked out for the first time. Even Dr Phil can't handle them either when they both got invited by him for their behaviour on KN. Good thing, the restaurant is closed and Samy got deported for his illegal traffic while Amy is doing her bakery business and oftenly posting it in her Instagram.
Akira is not a bad chef. If you've watched the episode you would have known he is a very talented sushi master. He just stopped cooking when he opened up his restaurant.
Also, he got mentally abused by his wife as his wife kept interrupting him and never let him talk. Also, his wife doesn't support him very well. When Gordon lift up his spirit to cook again, his wife is very grumpy and doesn't like him to work again like she expected him to fail forever! Does she realize that the restaurant going down because of him not cooking for a long time?
Please do "Best Ramsay Insults of The Food" I nominate "Looks like Chappy took a crappy on my plate"
"Moussaka? Mousuck!" Even Gordon smirked from his own insult.

Good news for #2: the restaurant is still open and is doing very well!
It helps that the owner actually had a sympathetic reason for being so sucky: he hadn't quite gotten over his parents' passing.
Yeah especially because most of the restaurants close after the show because of the financial state they were in but I’m glad that he still has his restaurant it’s quite sad that his parents passed but couldn’t get over it and was getting in the way of his business

@@The_Chef2511 Ramsay plays therapist more than consultant in many cases. These episodes are more about fixing people than they are about fixing restaurants.
@@krizwatcher he also was forced to give up school to help with the restaurant. I think that also factored into Mama Maria's failing because he didn't have a proper education and I doubt his parents taught him how to run a restaurant in the likely event they passed away.

@@TheDommunistParty Also, in Kitchen Nightmare UK, he got his competition when one chef couldn't cook a muscle and he talked back to Gordon. It was so hillarious to watch and it didn't have dramatic sound effects!
Akira didn't make anything that Gordon ate. It was said in that episode that Akira no longer worked in the kitchen as a chef. Also, when mentioning Ricky, the clips shown for Gordon looking at the menu weren't even from the episode that Ricky was featured in. Another thing, Doug didn't serve Gordon the Greek cookie. One of the owners made the cookie and wanted him to taste it. Gordon didn't order it.

3: Amy Bouzaglo, because she is not crazy, is a wonderful chef, and anyone who doesn't think so is a hater! Meow Meow Meow Meow...
Remoniq 😂
Nino and Chef Mike should open a restaurant. Chef Mike would work his buttons off and Nino would have the pictures to prove it.
Number 1 is more than worthy of it's spot!!
If the where was a higher spot she'd get it
Amy made 72 accounts to dislike this video & it is still ongoing :)
Anastasia Thean She sees us trollin’! She hatin’!
Amy Bouzaglo we don’t need any, everyone knows you would
She's plain insane in the membrane.
3:00 I didn't know Santa Claus was a chef
Pete Fafalios from Pantaleone's Pizza is not the list?
I disagree with you.
“SEBASTIAN’S......SEBASTIAN’S......SEBASTIAN’S......”

WHAT?😁
What about Cassemero from "Charlie's". He was an italian chef and couldn't cook a meatball. A meatball. Let me say that again. He was an ITALIAN CHEF who COULDN'T COOK A MEATBALL. And then refused to cook because he didnt feel like it.
"I do have a bad day all the time"
Yes chef we know
Perla's my favourite bad chef.
"Perla do the thing"
"Yes"
*Proceeds to do the opposite*
She really was a kid in way over her head.
I wanted to punch Amy. I came from her episode to see if any other restaurant could be any worse
I watch Kitchen Nightmares with my sister, but one night, I was home alone and that’s when they showed Amy’s restaurant. I was stunned someone could act like that. But when my sister came home I told her all about Amy’s episode and her mania! Only problem was I’m dramatic by nature and she thought I was joking.
A month later, they did a “where are they now” episode for Amy and my sister was home. So very quickly, she discovered I was not only not joking at all, but I had also forgot another thing that happened. Where Amy says she could literally talk to her cats. So yeah, vindication, I guess? 😂
I think chappy should’ve been in 2nd place, all the while John accepted Gordon’s help, chappy bluntly ignored the standards Gordon had set for him, and acted as though Gordon had never gone to his restaurant
Edit: also you forgot chef mike
Also, in this list, only John's restaurant that still open till these days. Good for him.
Doug from seascape should be number 2 he was the reason why the restaurant was the most disgusting kitchen in the kitchen nightmares history he also cooked food then recooked it the next day and also kept the food he cooked in a dog food bag and claims his sour pork that looked like a mutated pork for his lunch and served Ramsay mouldy pesto and frozen ravioli the worst part is he refused to taste gordan’s food infront of him
Here’s a challenge: best chefs on Kitchen Nightmares
Dragon’s Touch David from Burger Kitchen and the mama Cherie from the UK version
DieHardNYGiantsFan David would totally make the list
Dragon’s Touch Mama Cherri #1 all the way David #2
I would put my vote in for Chef Mike being the best chef on Kitchen Nightmares 😂 too bad Chef Mike was executed at the end of that episode
The twins chefs from Zeke's
actually the Greek cookie was made by the owners mother, not the chef.
Jim and Jeff turned it around, its amazingly good now!
I watched the episode with #2, John...I actually had to sympathize with him, seeing as he was still in a bad way after losing his parents. The unfortunate thing was, he was letting his grief get in the way of proper restaurant management.
And of course, was there ever any doubt Amy would be #1?
Do a list of top ten sweet moments from kitchen nightmares
Eevee Roxy half of em are gunna be him being nice to the servers no matter what crap food hes served
Eevee Roxy Mama Cherri
Here's a candidate: the ending of the Olde Hitching Post episode, where Andrea's father FINALLY hands the reins of the restaurant over to her after she proves herself a capable coordinator and owner.
Akira at #10 is a bit harsh, he got it back together at the end of that episode tbf.
Shelley was worse imo
Agreed, he was basically a nice guy who had fallen into depression for whatever reason. That arrogant twatwaffle who stole his son's inheritance to open the restaurant should've been on the list before Akira.
@@YamiNoSensei13 haha love that word "twatwaffle" 🤣
@Abcity Even after Gordon helped them, the restaurant didn't remain open for too long. Akira and his family left Sushi-Ko to move to a smaller premises. It was to help focus on the family and their relationship. :-( I felt sorry for Akira and his kids Sammy and Hana. His wife was mentally abusive, talking FOR Akira and crushing his confidence. Hana... poor Hana. Her face when she spoke of her frustration at her mum's attitude - that broke me. :-(
@@YamiNoSensei13 I'm going to use the term "twatwaffle" from here on out. Thanks, mate!
Should do top 10 worst owners next.
I remember Amy's Baking Company (ABC). I watched the episode and the people there needed more help than the functionality of the restaurant
Gordon Ramsay is a national treasure
International
I agree he may be angry alot but he tells it like it is.
Dee Lucky#7's damn straight
Who loves the show Hell's Kitchen?
I do! I do! Gordon Ramsay rules.
Chappy has the reputation for being kitchen nightmares angriest chef
Amy: hold my cupcakes!
My god this girl (caster) is freakin beautiful
she s ok. i take it you havent seen alot of beautiful broads? she is nothing special
@@deathrager2404 Or ,guessing from his profile pic, hasn't dealt with much women in general.

Loved this video. Please do next Top 10 Worst Owners On Hotel Hell
The one when a couple had a brothel in their basement
@@MoviesNGames007uk Whaaaat? Which one was that? I haven't watched it.
@@torijenkins2731 it wasn't a brothel, they were hosting swinger parties. I can't remember the name of the hotel but it had a Bavarian theme and they made their waitresses buy and wear these expensive outfits. The female owner showed a ridiculous amount of cleavage at all times and heavily hit on Gordon like in the first five minutes of the show.
@@YamiNoSensei13 Oh I think I know which one you're talking about. Thanks for clearing that up.
We aren't going to talk about the Owners, just the chefs and first person is the owner. Great video!

Me: why do i hear boss music?
Lmao
Apparently Chappy blamed Chef Ramsey for his restaurant closing (he didn't like the changes made and changed them back as soon as Ramsey left.) And since then has opened 3 different restaurants, 2 of which were failures.
Really surprised that Casimiro from Charlie's Italian Bistro is not on this list. That guy was not able to cook simple things, refused to work fast, had a bad attitude by reacting offended when getting called out for messing up Meatballs and was only in the restaurant for so long, because Tatiana was not able to fire him, because she thought they were friends, while he did not care at all for the Restaurant.
Some Chefs on the list at least improved afterwards, while some were not that bad overall (like Akira), but Casimiro got kicked mid-Show.
*NINO!* *NINO!* *NINO!* *NINO!* *NINO!*
Watchmojo: "Focusing on terrible chefs rather than gross restaurants or awful owners."
Also Watchmojo: "While as a chef Amy isn't completely awful, as a restauranteur in general she easily worthy of the top spot."
Amy is kind of in a category all her own though
Michelle Spector tbh I’ll give them a pass on this one Amy deserved #1
These chefs should taste their own food, and Taste Humility, and tell us which one is more Bitter.
How the waitress says “grilled salad” forever lives in my head. I hear it in my dreams. It’s just stuck with me
