Started out a sore spot on left ft, left side of my Achilles. Been crawling for a wk now. Excruciating pain all the time. Got an MRI, wtg for results. This is so crazy.
The Tendonitis Expert who posts on youtube emphasizes that muscle tightness is the biggest factor in tendon problems and that if that is addressed it will provide long term relief from the problem.
That was the case for me. I had tendon pain that was caused by a very tight hamstring and calf muscles. A simple massage gun fixed the problem in just a couple of days.
@@kaurpreet-wq6uz I'm at work now, so I don't recall the brand, but I purchased it at Target and the price was quite reasonable (under $40). I think it was in the "As Seen on TV" aisle. The pain did linger a little after playing tennis for a few more weeks, but totally resolved now. Hope that helps. Good luck!
Once some research identifies aetiology, then treatment can be evidenced based. Sadly at present, treatment is empirical. Biomechanics needs more attention.
This video is really good to understand what my therapist is t rying to do and to understand that I can't solve my problem solely by watching youtube videos
I believe I am in the healing part of achilles tendinosis as there is no pain at all anymore, just some stiffness in the morning and maybe later in the day. I do eccentric heel drops, calf foam rolling and and cross friction fiber massage, all twice a day. That being said their is still swelling in my achilles (middle of it). Is that just scar tissue that will always be there and no big deal or will it go down? Thanks!
Booty booty booty rockin' everywhere and also my Achillies midpoint Tendinopathy seems to go away when I exercise but when I sit it starts to throb why is that so?
got this on both ankles for 8 months now.... I can walk fine , and run after warming up...but it constantly feels bruised.... hope it goes away one day....
I think this video is to get people to a doctor or something when there's plenty of things that can be done without specialists. I think some people let it get worse and worse until surgery is necessary. It probably starts because of tight calves in especially cold weather. Or overtraining
Yes I have achilles tendinitis and metatarsalgia. My doctor said it is because the achilles cause my foot to put more impact there when walking cause. How is your foot now?
Nice educational video, content seems to be aimed at therapists rather than aimed at treating!
I came here for the chick
Been having tendon issues also but yea , clicked for the chick also.
Yeah..not a bad view 👀👀
Nice foot.
I think the patient is the cameraman's gf!😂😂
Can't see the foot much hey
What was he saying? I was looking at the great buddy lying there all the time.....
Yes quite distracting😂
Me too

*I would just do that exercise in **_Treat Your Own Achilles Tendinitis_** its simple and it really works.*
Not in every case
Not in my case

Is it just me or does that thumbnail look like he's about to punch her?
What color is the seat?
Thanks, is there a link to eccentric heel drop for insertions tendenosis?
any luck?
Hatim Alsuhaibani hello, did you find something useful?
if you find anything about this please reply. Thanks. I think this is also my problem not the mid section one.
I found this one. I'll try reading it first www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4127511/
kinda hard to focus
Could tight achilles cause gait changes/mechanical problems?
yes. I started reflexology session and agressive Thai foot Massages/Chinese Deep Tissue pressure.
Too bad you said nothing how to heal it or fix it
Wow this whole video and he just tells us scientific words for "yeah if your tendon hurts it's prob fucked up"
did she really had to wear underpants for this demonstration?
Tendon is a ligament? Since when?

Shaun Lambert hey Shaun are you syill having achilles issues 9 months on?

Primitive Sponge it's the same for me
Sounds like typical tendonitis
i feel a lot of pain in my forefoot after sleeping. after 10 to15 minutes it become a bit normal. plz advise.
You mentioned you were going to demonstrate an exercise ... but didn't get around to it sadly.

Excellent video; thanks.
My Achilles have been quite swollen and painful but now ok. They aren't smooth and wonder if they can be fixed and possibly strengthened.
Who wouldn't Media? He's a good-looking guy.
so long winded
Too much bla, bla, bla and nothing that can be used to help resolve the problem.
Agreed! Most videos on youtube regarding Tendinopathy only give out "free" information that is of no use on how to fix the issue. FUCK
genius
All I see is Larry Nassar. Sorry, no disrespect.
Is it common that this condition can result in overloading the forefoot and causing metatarsalgia?

Bla, bla, and not demostration of threatment. Informative and unuseful.
