Welcome to this introduction video to the Uno Learning Academy:
In a brainstorming session in 2014, a group of forward thinking individuals
collaborated so as to turn ideas into action, and ‘give-back’ from a wealth of
experience and technique, into an academic format, and from these sessions
the Uno Learning Academy was borne, with the aim of turning what’s been
seeing as a paradox into everyday user skills, into the clothing industry.
Whilst in an ever evolving latest technology of machinery from sprockets and
chains, coils and gears, eccentric and cams, etc.,
and now moving too energy saving motors and electronically control drives;
integrated chips and logic controllers; digitizing and CNC equipment;
let us not be left behind: Lets learn & develop; and grow & sew into the future.
The technical team of trainers driving the Uno Learning Academy has been
supporting the department of higher education on their technical work group as
subject matter experts, for a number of years, in the development of
artisanship’s for the industry. Whilst bringing on this cutting edge skill into
formalities, the Uno Learning Academy envisages developments in an ever
changing world where on-line support and on-line training is an everyday part
of teaching and learning. The Uno Learning Academy will offer a range of user
friendly videos covering instruction and technical support to industry related
machinery and technology.
These teaching and learning video presentations series will support industry
related machinery and equipment in its uses in
a demonstrations thereof;
a threading series;
in an assembly and installation instruction series;
an accessories and work aids offering;
and there will be troubleshooting support.
