- I had seen this tractor in a market place ad about 2 months ago and it was for a GE Elec-trak tractor, so I looked them up and they were pretty neat. Next a mint condition one showed up on market place for $1000, which is crazy for any tractor....and then these showed up...bunch of tractors, make an offer...so I inquired and they ended up coming home with me. Lets tour these GE Elec-trak tractors!
I am glad you spoke about the follow up videos.
I always have more projects than time, and things take 2x if you film them.
I was beginning to wonder if you got trapped in the back of a Lumina Van at the auto wrecker 😂 Nice to see you back 🤗
Yeah, Spring is a super busy time for me in the yard, between lawns and gardens and building stuff, I don't have a lot of time to video much. I have stuff in the can for when I'm on holidays in July and will be back at it like crazy in August if I make it that far. :p

Cool! I had no idea these existed. Hope to see something useful made from them. Wikipedia had a number of interesting links to look through. One of them had a poem:
ELEC-TRAK -- THE QUIET ONE
The Elec-Trak tractor
Is the toast of the town
It can't fly to the moon
But it won't let you down.
It's fast on the plain
and great on a hill,
It can't climb Mt. Everest -
But will give you a thrill
It leads your truck,
Your grass will mow,
And in the middle of winter,
Will move all your snow.
It's safe and it's good -
Does all your work too!
I just bought one,
Now how about you?

I just read that last night for the first time! You know those are decent folks in marketing if they come up with a jingle.
I'm a second generation owner of the family E20 and have manuals if you neede scans.
Thank you very much for the offer! I have found quite a few online so I’m hopefully set for now.
The rust on those GE tractors is likely from the batteries leaking and corroding the metal 🤔
Very good chance of that...them sitting outside for the last 30 years just kinda helped things along. They are unibody construction, so we'll see how deep it goes.
