Other fottballers push ball away and run towards it to carry the ball forward while messi carries the ball with himself and that's why it looks like the ball is glued ro his feet. Hence his body is more balance while tackling with other opponents while dribbling and on the otherhand other players spread their legs far to keep the ball in their reach which reduces the effectiveness of strong balance in order to withstand the tacking. If you have observed messi planning carefully you will notice that the ball is mostly below his body and not far away from it while other players had to stretch their legs to keep the ball in thier control. This is reason why messi doesn't fall often compare to other footballer during tackling.
Imagine how hard it is then for players like Ibrahimovic to do what they do when dribbling.
Even more players like Zidane or Busquets that would dribble while walking, being tall and slow its an even bigger handicap in comparison with tall and fast like Henry or Bale
