The final price for my 2024 capstone hybrid is 82,000$ 😂
Saw a capstone this weekend. Didn’t blow me away. Save the money and get a 1794/Platinum instead. Almost 10k difference for power running boards and power bed step, load leveling and avs suspension that can be a costly repair!
Noting is worth the price tag nowadays.
A McDonald's Big Mac meal is $9, which is also not worth the price.
Stay away from that for sure!!!

Agree on the brushed finish over any shiny chrome, though I’m not the target market so take what you will from that. I do like the two tone seats that keep the lower parts dark though.

i had a 2023 4runner for a while and i have to agree, the brushed was very nice inside. i hated that gas guzzler and i hate the modern shit like hill assist, etc, but the interior was bnig and bulky which i like. i hate chrome. i think it's going out of fashion anyway

I have 42k miles on a 23 Capstone and it’s a beautiful truck. Runs like a dream. I just want to upgrade the Turbo, rims, suspension, and calipers. Stock rims (painted black chrome) started to peel. And the sound system has a rattle but everything else is pretty solid.

Love the Capstone...but have never regretted not getting one after having my '24 1794. I honestly like the interior of the 1794 better anyways, which is the biggest difference between the two imo.
Just traded in my 2023 Platinum 4x4 for a 2023 1794 with the TRD off road package and love the 1794! Do miss some things on the Platinum and hate something on the 1794! However, I’ll get over it! Also, Jon I live at Wesley Chapel, Florida and not to far away from you! Can’t wait to get my hands on the new Taco when it’s available to order! BTW! I work for a Toyota Dealership.

Having a 15 Tundra and looking at these I gotta say I'm very happy and fortunate to have what I have. From my 5.7L V8 to having no tech that messes with my experience the only upgrade I would buy at this point would be a 21 Tundra TRD Pro. Love what you did with your platinum though!

Honestly, Toyota may as well make a Lexus version of this truck vs having a Capstone trim. The Capstone trim is kind of redundant because of the Platinum and the 1794.
Yea if it was WAY more luxury then they I’d get it. But it’s like the Platinum and 1794 inside. I agree.

I am trying to decide if I should by the 2024 Pro or Platinum with the off road package
I was bouncing around between TRD pro and the 1794 or the capstone in my eyes the 1794 with the off-road package is the truck to buy you get the luxury and you get the Trd pro options alongside the 1794. I’ve been saving for a year now to buy my retirement truck and hands-down I went with the 1794 the capstone just doesn’t have the Trd off-road package. It doesn’t have the look as of the 1794 on the outside I don’t know call me crazy but the 1794 is what I’m buying this Saturday I will write the check and hopefully drive away a happy man. I don’t know. I’m getting different reviews from CZcams andother sources but in my eyes, I believe the 1794 with the Trd package is hands-down better than the capstone

Maybe I missed it, but what makes the capstone worthy of the $80,000 price tag? Your platinum has a lot of the same features. A different grill isn’t that big of a deal, especially when the platinum grill looks better. 22’s are cool, but you mentioned the downside in ride quality, black vs cow pattern leather…

I have a question, I do have the same truck and hear a weird noise when depres the brakes I don’t know if it’s the electric motors getting energy into the battery or something wrong in my car, what do you thinks it’s ?

Driving habits, conditions and geography plays a big role aside from the mentioned Pro specific body, suspension and tires.
@TRDJon mine was stock and still maximum 16 mpg, but now is just being lifted 2.5 still the same getting tires soon so i think it won't get any better lol
Blessed are those who managed to grab the last of the V8s available.
They sell a lot more of them if they gave people a choice of colour interior not a lot of people like white interior for the average pick up owner

I gotta tell you I’m starting to lose confident in TOYOTA now I’m not gonna say no one loves TOYOTA more than me, but I will say this. I love Toyota Tundra very much. Let’s just prove that to you how much I love it. I have right now 2023, Toyota Tundra 1794 edition, this is my fifth tundra I bought this one. I got now 2023. It’s like my dealership I go to. I almost know everybody by name that’s how often I go there. No I am not trying to put TOYOTA down, but I’m really disappointed, my radio knob falling off, I’ve been having a lot of issue and it breaks my heart to say this because I love this Toyota Tundra very much TOYOTA if you read this, you’re making me lose confident because at the end of 2025 I’m going to buy another one or may I say I’m going to be ready to buy it a different car And I’m starting to feel like maybe I shouldn’t buy Tundra or if I do consider it I should probably go back to the model and I don’t wanna go backwards. I want not backwards so what do I do I I’m stuck it. The truck is giving me big problems, it’s a bunch of small little bullshit things that should never happen. For example I had a 2020 Toyota tundra 1794. I didn’t do anything on the car except oil change and gasoline 2007. That was my first Tundra then I believe I brought 2000. What was it 2011 I believe and then I got 2014 and then I got 2020 then I got this one I got here and I believe there was one other one I didn’t bought Was Anyway TOYOTA fix this problem really fast and also why you on the topic the 1794 the reason why I bought this car in the past and I really love it for two things actually three thanks the leather interior the chrome wheels and the front the front grill all chrome They took that away now the grill in the front on this one it’s fine that’s that’s OK so I mean it is what it is but this truck used to be unique and they took that away so you can see. I am not as happy as I can be, how long you think you can keep Customer they’re not buying your cars. I’ll leave you the answer that question TOYOTA. That’s all I gotta say.🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈

70k plus for a new Tundra? Nah!! Just bought a new 23 Nissan Titan pro-4x for 34k out the door!! My Titan will outlast the Tundra hands down!!
The titan is also very old and is discontinued as well now.

Actually no, the Titan is not being discontinued. They are just doing a refresh. It's old but it will outlast any other new 2023 car/truck
